I've been wondering, even though Freelancer is an old game, alot of us no-doubt have gaming rigs geared towards the 21st Century. It would be interesting to see what people have in their towers, and find out who takes their hardware SERIOUSLY!

What i have right now.

3.2ghz single core celeron CPU with stock fan.
160 gb IDE harddrive <-- keeping this for newer stuff
two combo dvd cd burner drives <--- keeping them as well
1 gb ddr 400mhz ram
p210 pc-chips motherboard
geforce fx 5500 (had a factory overclocked geforce 6800 256mb card, but it fried when my power supply fried)
mid size atx case with clear side panel (side panel taken off to reduce heat in case)
250wat power supply (450 watt ps fried and this is all i had in the closet that worked.)

edit: yes, that is a 8inch fan blowing into my opened pc case to keep it cool, the stock fan fails at keeping my cpu cool.

Heh, I dont have all that great of a rig but its okay for the games I play. Newest game I tried was the FEAR 2 Demo which ran surprisingly good.

I'd go with a mutant mix of Oompa Loompas and Hoodlum, but since that's not just believable I have to go with

I've been thinking about getting a bigger panel and a new graphics card but at the moment FL is the only game I play, so the longer I wait the better cards there will be.


And I know big a pecker Quintaine has;)It's ok son to brag a little.

I've been eyeing the i7 too, but frankly I don't have any need for more computing power right now.
