Nodo Notices 1: The Cappening (of Capacitors) - Nodoka Hanamura - 06-23-2018

Hey there everyone,

So my desktop's power supply decided it wanted to run on a 0 Watt Power Supply instead of 500, and as such, has gone and proverbially jumped off the Brent Spence Bridge (A major bridge from my area).

References to my locale and jokes aside, my Power Supply in my desktop died.

My laptop is still working, but is outdated in terms of Accounts for disco. I do believe I have a recent version backed up somewhere, but other than that, I may require administrator assistance in recovering any accounts made from my IP that I don't have on here.

As far as I am aware on the desktop front, my CPU, RAM, Mobo and GPU are all still intact (No visible popped capacitors, no signs of arcing or electrical damage that would visibly confirm damage, and on top of that, IIRC, my PSU (Ultra LS500) has fault protection onboard, so the only fatality here should be my PSU.

Since I rely on SSDI for income, I'll be on laptop until June 30th when I get paid. Depending on what comes of the Account situation, my activity on server may be limited to the accounts I have on my laptop (Which are outdated, lacking Ouroboros shared accounts, old Aux vessels (Which I need to sell to le ebin Core bois :3) and possibly one other account)

Anywho, just thought I'd let you know. Pray for the best, so I don't have to buy ANOTHER CPU.

(I only bought my last one the other day :/)

*headpat administered*

This is why I have all my accounts on:
  • An xml, updated weekly and uploaded to Google Docs
  • Pastebin, updated concurrently with the xml
Always, always, ALWAYS, have backups of things.

Alternately, at this point, yeah, just boop admins for your stuff.
