PUBLIC FLASH: GMG Attacked - Gas Miners Guild - 07-21-2018 ![]() To all inhabitants of the Sirius Sector, The Gas Miners Guild must regretfully report that it is now, against its will, at a state of war with the alleged Federal Republic of Rheinland.
Rheinland Military warships have invaded the GMG sovereign space that is Sigma-21 without provocation and are responsible for the the murder of dozens of Guild and Kishiro Technologies civilians who were engaged in the settlement of the rightfully GMG planet, Saigon, when they destroyed the Ibusuki Survey Facility in orbit of the planet. The Guild has no desire for conflict with House Rheinland and will do its utmost to seek a peaceful solution while protecting its independence. Unfortunately, this assault on the Sigma systems will undoubtedly impact the critical supply of invaluable h-fuel to the rest of the Sirius Sector. Current events illustrate House Rheinland is guilty of crimes against humanity committed outside of a declaration of war. As demonstrated during the 80 Years War, The Guild has again been struck without prior warning or justification. These hostile actions undertaken against our peaceful organisation sadden us but our paramilitary has been activated to ensure the independence we rely on to ensure the Sirius Sector remains spaceborne. The Gas Miners Guild has no intention of causing House Rheinland harm but must unfortunately, as forced, defends its home. As Guildmaster, I personally hope we will soon once again enjoy a friendly relationship with the Bundestag, however until the Rheinland Military effects a full withdrawal from our space we remain embroiled in a war we do not wish to fight. This channel remains open and accessible to all within Sirius. The Guild pleads for peace.
Sincerely,
Keiji Namura
RE: PUBLIC FLASH: GMG Attacked - Bundeskabinett Sekretariat - 07-24-2018 =[INCOMING TRANSMISSION]=
PRIORITY: High ENCRYPTION: None IDENTIFICATION: Bundeskabinett Sekretariat SOURCE: Bundeskanzleramt, Planet New Berlin SUBJECT: Communiqué regarding the disinformation released by the GMG This is communiqué of the Rheinland Government: The Rheinland government do not understand how there can be any confusion or surprise about the state of war between the Bundesrepublik and the Gas Miners Guild. We would expect that everyone, mainly the guild itself, knows for quite some time that there is a state of war because it was publicly declared almost nine months ago and this event was widely monitored by the media. We would also like to remind the GMG and the general public that there is well known reason why Rheinland forces attacked the guild´s station recently and why Rheinland military had to enter the Sigma systems before. Blaming the Bundesrepublik for invading the GMG space "without provocation" is ridiculous after the attack on Fulda station, which was actually the one which was attacked and significantly damaged by the guild´s ships without any provocation. Not to mention that the destroyed Ibusuki Survey Facility was in fact involved in the GMG´s combat effort because it served as a refuelling and resupplying point. On top of that, it was not Rheinland who has violated territorial integrity and sovereignty in this conflict first, but the guild which tried to claim Sigma-15 as their space, despite they knew well that it was Rheinlanders who discovered it first and inhabited it. Apart from that, we would like to inform the general public that the Kishiro Technologies was strongly warned by the Rheinland government to not send any personnel or ships into the Sigmas war zone, especially Sigma-21 system, because they may be unintentionally, yet seriously endangered there during military operations. Copy of this message is attached to this communiqué. Unfortunately, the management of the corporation did not listen to our appeal. Thus while we regret death of all neutral civilians, Bundesrepublik or its forces cannot be blamed for it in this case. signed Laura Conradt, spokeswoman of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat LOADING DATA ATTACHMENT
