I've been looking for a place to go fight some baddies. I'm "exploring" in a fighter, and curious as to what places will have some decent NPC resistance. When I fly my transport, I can get jumped by 8 NPC Mollys and I can take them out easily. Just last night I had a run in with 3 Corsairs and I actually almost died. That was in Omega-49.
Where can I go to hunt some NPC baddies? I say NPC because I figured going to a player controlled pirate area there may be more numbers than I can handle.

Omega-47 is a good one. High level Corsairs and Hessians, and not too many players.

but if somebody catch you herewith sairs/hessians in hold your chance for survive is smaler than small because all JHs are damn far and there isnt any station to dock. Escape is imposible:)

I hate that system so much, NEVER EVER go in there in a fighter, hostile to Corsairs, Hessians, and BHs, it is SUICIDE!
However it is a good place to go if your in lets say a cruiser, or in a fighter with a death-wish.
Head to the Xeno Guard system, not many NPCs in there but they'll give you a hell of a fight i'm sure, because there Xenos and they have nothing to lose:P.

Go play in wild space. Very private, hardly ever players there. Very challenging.

Go to Omega 58 dock with the jumpgate.
