Nerva's Artsy Corner - Nerva Regis - 08-11-2018

Hey there everyone!
I just realized that I managed to gather a pretty decent portfolio of artsy stuff, I decided to centralize everything into one post.
I hope you enjoy it! (sun)

1. Maybe my best know thingy here - My 3dification of Disco Logos Thread - Yes, I know I still have to finish some of them. Bear with me, I will finish them.

2. Logos/Signature

3. Various Maps for my Custom Nervy NavMap - maybe I will get to finish it sometime - Thanks @Error for letting me modify his work.
4. Tried Making the Solar System to scale and in 3dimensions (it was about 600k across) - might finish it sometime
1 2 3 4

5. Other 3d models/My failed ship design
Custom Power Cell for my Nerva Power Cell Rp
Random Renders of my Failed SRP model 1 2

Welp, that was a lot.

I like your work on the navmap images, they are a nice touch. Do you edit the existing backdrops or create new images all together?

RE: Nerva's Artsy Corner - Nerva Regis - 08-11-2018

Completely new images. I was trying to give the navmap a bit more color. The trickier part is to find/make the right textures for the planet objects.
Since some of the planets are just clones, I am trying to give each of them a unique feeling by tweaking the textures a bit. I am trying to use the info cards as reference; especially where the there is info about their aspect. ^^

Pretty cool. What software are you using to create the textures? Filter Forge?

Oh, I heard about that one, but nope. I'm a pleb and I am making them manually. Sometimes I am using this from github.
