ok, was on paint.net and i thourght, well why not have a go at a sig, i am safe to say i failed misrably with this: http://i41.tinypic.com/1ffqjc.png well i am getting there, i was just having a fiddle with it.

If you're going for free software, I'd recommend GIMP, though that might be a matter of taste:)

I'd agree with that, i tried Paint.net briefly and didn't really like it. GIMP is quite simple to use yet quite effective (like a tuned down photoshop)

Nah, just need some practice.

I spent maybe three months playing around on mine before I was able to make the current one I'm using, but even then I've still got a -lot- to learn.

(I use GIMP)

Mabey I'm going slightly off-topic, but I would sugest downloading a better software, like paintshop pro or fireworks or something, if they aren't availible for freeware/shareware download, try torrenting them.

All I did was fiddle with the brightness/contrast and add a few filters, I like your sig...:(
