Not really sure if this message will reach the right people, but I figured it would be worth a shot at least...so, here goes.

I'm sure I don't really need to explain who I am, since it's pretty much public record that I used to be a Navy Admiral, anyway that's not the point.

My point is to tell you that I'm still alive, and that while I'm no longer a member of the military, I am still ready and willing to aid The Republic.

See, I've fallen in with the Bounty Hunters Guild, and while I can obviously contribute in the normal way that Hunters do, I'm of the opinion that my current situation puts me in a unique position to assist the Libertonian military with things far beyond it's normal reach, and with methods that the military wouldn't necessarily be able to employ.

In effect, I am offering myself, as a trusted individual, to carry out missions that Liberty would rather remain unconnected to.

Obviously, if this offer is acceptable, terms and details would need to be discussed in person, and so I await your response.

Baker, out.

FADM (ret.) Rachel A. Baker:

Ma'am. Senior Agent 'Veritas', Internal Affairs for the LSF, and field command of LSF SOUTHCOM. I've heard tale of your exploits and service to the Republic, and I am not one to turn down a patriot willing to serve her nation, given my own history with acting under similar circumstances.

I am not able to disclose any particulars on missions we would be willing or able to carry out in the vein in which you describe, but we would be more than willing to utilize your services to effect the mission of Liberty beyond her normal reach. If you're interested, of course, you would need to undergo a strict screening process - although nothing I'm sure you're unaccustomed to - and in return I can offer that in-person arrangement at a time and place of your choosing, and of course much more detail about our objectives and resources at that time.

We'll be waiting. In service to the Republic.

Senior Agent,

I appreciate the swiftness of your response, and of course I understand that you cannot discuss particulars.

Anyway, I'm presently not within the borders of House Liberty, but I am prepared to make my way there at best speed.

I would certainly expect thorough screening, so no I'm not worried about that.

So, I guess the next step is that you just tell me where you want me to meet the agents sent to bring me in, and I'll be there.

I do have one request though, I'd like to not have my services limited to assisting the Security Forces -- obviously I understand the concept of OPSEC and confidentiality, and so I would not discuss Security Forces assignments with personnel from other agencies or branches...but, you know, I'm kind of making my own paychecks these days, so it'd be nice to continue taking other jobs.

Baker, out.

FADM (ret.) Rachel A. Baker:

Ma'am. Your requests are within both our operational boundaries and what we would be allowed to offer you as a contractor for the Security Forces. Further, diversity in your "jobs" would help to...say, muddy the waters of your work history, which is only a benefit for keeping your actions covert.

Screening will involve re-instating and/or updating your SECRET clearance, and all the necessitated background checks and interviews required for such process. I'm sure I don't need to inform you of the specifics, given your previous history with our Armed Forces. If the potential interests you, ma'am, we'll block off a time in the LSF SCIF aboard St. Albans in Virginia for a more in-depth chat about what potential operations you could assist us with.

In service to the Republic.
