ADMIN NOTICE : Player Fined - Dieter Schprokets - 02-16-2009
Zoner.Drake.Edgewater/ AKA Zoner.Guard.Kilimanjaro has been sanctioned owing to a report posted on the Feb 16 for:
Quote:5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) while the enemy (player or players involved in the fight) remains in the system, but no more than 4 hours.
5.8 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not re-engage the enemy (player or players involved in the death) with any of the characters on his/her account(s) for 4 hours.
Consequences:
Fined All Credits and Guns, both characters. In the case of the Whale, that would be gun, singular.
Notes:
You don't get to switch to your big bad ship and shoot the mean pirate. Don't do it.

umm this is completely untrue I was pirated on my trader and dropped my cargo as per his demand no death incurred or any combat at all for that matter I then left the system on my trader and logged onto my guard to confront the pirate I confronted him on my guard by saying "I had reports offarmers robbing zoners" (no names were used as the report was vague) he disrespected zoners on a whole and myself within RP I then decided when he ducked into the cloud to eliminate him, so I don't see how this interaction fits those rules at all and I do not see a rule that says you can't log on another char to confront someone if the RP supports it and I made sure to announce my RP when I first interacted with him I did not simply show up and kill him saying "you robbed my other char"

Simply put, Pirating counts as a PvP engagement. If it was alright for people to do what you did, people would be able to pirate in Battleships to avoid it. Just like Dieter said, you don't get to switch to your big ship and kill mean old me for playing my role.

Okay I can accept that but if that is the case can we please have the rules made far more clear as I don't see it posted anywhere that being robbed counts as a pvp engagement if I had known that I would not of come to confront you I'm a fairly new player and the only rules I can follow are ones that I can read I can't just magically know rules when they are not clearly presented to me but I suppose ignorance isn't a excuse I'm sorry if I caused you grief you have my sincerest apologies. Though I feel this fine is a bit much and a warning could of gotten the point across especially as this sanction seems to deal with unspoken rules as the rules posted here don't really apply to what I did.
