Leadcrows has been sanctioned owing to a report posted on Feb 16 2009 for:
Quote:3.4 Out-of-character (OOC) chat should not be used for system chat, except in emergencies
4.6 Remember that Discovery is a roleplaying server. Factions and faction members (just like all other players) are obliged to act in the way their reputation and status require. Factions are expected to set an example in role-play.
5.7 A player who was killed in a PvP fight must not enter the system where the fight took place with any of the characters on his/her account(s) while the enemy (player or players involved in the fight) remains in the system, but no more than 4 hours.
If the player respawns in the same system, he/she must leave the system without engaging. Other players are not allowed to attack one who is leaving.
Consequences: Fined all credits and weapons.
Notes: You didn't leave the system after you were killed, you didn't use a single line of roleplay chat. Everything you said was oorp. -Everything-. To follow that you docked on Mactan, with a corsair guard tag and corsair guns, which you now don't have, nor can you dock on mactan any more. Infact the list of places you can dock is seriously reduced now.
Your rep was -awful-. Your pirate (corsair guard tagged) wasn't being shot at by the lawfuls in liberty... The Outcasts were neutral, as were the rogues, the hackers and so on... Most of the trading factions were neutral as well. You could also (while corsair tagged) get into the outcast guard system without getting shot. The bounty hunters were neutral...
How you engineered that is anyone's guess, but this has all been fixed now.

First of all i was in Megallan to meet a friend.
Second, i docked on Mactan as an emergency because my controls fell out.
I docked out and was floating in space in Megallan, a player named: ''Phate'' started to shoot me, i said in //oorp that he should wait a min, but he simply killed me as i was harmless floating in space, i was annoyed very much, because any respectable player would not shoot anyone floating in space that is not moving in any direction, except my cruise worked after half of a min.
Later one of my comrades came to defeat him, and that ''Phate'' instanly changed to his Gunboat/Cruiser as my comrade already was on the radars, just not to face him because he is a good Sabre fighter.
I was very annoyed, but i did not curse against anyone, i came to Megallan again to see what happens, but i stayed at Leeds JH and i did not introduce into anything, i was''dead'' at all, but very annoyed, i left the system as soon as possible.
Next day i came for a fight against ''Phate'' again because i was very mad at him, he flew to the guard system and soon as i was in JH he instantly shot me, my screen did not even load that fast to see that i am almost dieing, i made it through JH again and he instantly shot me again on the other end, after that i was very very mad, but still i have not cursed or said anything really bad except that i am going to kill him next time, but that is only for his Sabre.
After a challange i lost in a fair duel against him, and i paid him 5Million as i promised, i approved that he can fight, i left.
Now after 1 day, i see that my cash, reputation and my equipment that i adjusted for 140hours on this server now is being gone, because that not respectable player ''Phate'' who abused/used the rules against me for his dirty advantages and who made a big show with his ''comrades'' who were looking him defeating me in that turn overpowered Sabre and saying ''owned''.
Do you really imagine me not being annoyed or upset?
For 5 years now i am on FL, I did not fall on the head, like anyone experienced FL player here.
I Congratulate you ''Phate'' you are now one of the insidiousest players i've met, defeating a 4years experienced in PVP player, getting 5mil from him, makeing a ''i am cool'' show and at the end lower his pride was not enough for you, right?
Do not be suprised if you do not see me online for a longer time now, or maybe forever.
I work 40-50hours a week, but still i managed to play on this server a big amount of time, because i was excited and tried to invest some good experience in it.

And none of the above is an excuse for the sanctioable behaviour.
A corsair guard tagged ship docking on a lane hacker base? Spare me.
And also, not getting shot by the local law... While (I repeat) having a corsair guard tagged ship and a pirate ID.
Not uttering a single word of roleplay chat in the time in which you were in contact with another player? Uggh.

There is no Corsair Guard ID, i wait for 4.85 to finally buy it, i did not find it right to use a Corsair ID, i met many people and nobody ever complained to be before using that Pirate ID, i did not feel doing anything wrong except when I was made aware of some things i changed as i've been told right away.
Do you except me to RP with a player who has no basic of people understanding? like ''Sod off'', ''Leave system or die''? after being ''free'' killed and ignored?
Have you asked yourself why someone who absolutely do not have a problem with like all of other players on this server got annoyed that far by that one player?
In such a situation there never is only one person guilty.
Rules always staying over personality and deeds never will make anyone happy or have fun and will be easy target for abuse.
I agree, maybe i chose the wrong faction for the kind of reputation i want to have, i do not feel unfair to change it if i get told to, but for what that fine of my hard earned equipment and all of my credits, i absolutely do not feel any justice behind it.

Your rep sheet was the biggest mess of any I have seen. You have a corsair guard tag and a pirate ID. That combination is fine.
That combination, while being non-hostile (on your rep sheet) to the lane hackers, outcasts and outcast guard NPC's, not to mention the liberty police and navy, and nearly all corporations who you would be pirating, is not ok.
To dock on Mactan with corsair guns and a corsair guard tag, is also not ok. These are things which are blatently out of roleplay. Your argument holds no water at all.
In all situations make an attempt at roleplaying. You didn't use a single line of roleplay chat... not one. Everything you did in this situation, even your presence in magellan was out of roleplay.
Now. Why, given the above was your sanction unjust? Either you have a very skewed idea of what the roleplay on this server is, or alternatively you're talking out of someplace other than your mouth, because you're sour about losing your guns.
