I'm usually really good with fixing computer problems, but I guess since my new laptop + vista + freelancer = no connection?
I have heard about vista's stupid compatibility issues...but come on...I guess its time for me to wipe the drive, and install xp on it.

When you are opening FL Mod Manager to load up the Mod, make sure you are running the program in Administrator mode. Right click on your FLMM icon and you should see an option to run as an admin, use that, then load the mod into the Mod Manager and activate it. Also you may be having a problem with you Anti-Virus, some of them wont allow you to connect to the server.
