What kind of activity would you like to see out of the Unioners?
We're currently a bit inactive due to christmas and coursework. Ingame, we're pretty dead. On forums, we're very active, mostly with tech roleplay (which is one of our niches as an unlawful shipyard faction). However, we'd love to see what kind of activity you'd like to see out of us ingame. What would excite you to play Unioners, and what would make you feel excited generally?
Bear in mind we need to be different and distinct from RHA (the other big Rheinland pirate faction), and a foil to groups like H| (pro-military, anti-civilian groups). Any ideas suggested will be put into implementation in the New Year. Quote an idea if you agree with it or want to modify it, in the replies. We have the player base, just not the ingame direction, yet we can do smuggling, mining, combat, piracy, in accordance to our ID. What would you like to see out of a well-rounded Unioner playerbase?
The last version of this thread worked out very well. We'd like to see this expanded on.
Our ID lets us do the following:
-assist Rheinland lawfuls at our discretion.
-Pirate
-Use warships up to battleship size (no carriers, no battlecruisers in our techcells).
-Mine Military Salvage only.
- ZOI which is Rheinland + 1, + Kansas, + Sigma 21.
- Escort smugglers.

Harmony made a similar thread. You two should talk about making pvp events or come up with a solution and present it to system devs to fix the abomination that is Bering.

Try making expeditions to Bretonia for trade in materials. There's plenty of military salvage in New London, especially after the Junkers gave up Trafalgar Base. You might not have a ZOI there, but you still can roam the place and interact in a non-hostile manner. It will be interesting to see what happens, maybe BAF could find a use for you - there's corsairs causing trouble in New London from time to time (I am guessing you are independent of them now?)

Respectfully the issue with the Unioners is not the faction itself but the person who leads it. People in this game want good and interesting interactions from players who are going to treat them right. Right now from what I can see and what I have heard is most of the players here dont like the 1ic. I honestly think the Faction Lead should re think his status here on the server and try to better himself. Everyone has an opportunity to grow and I am a perfect example of that. A few years ago i was a crappy person with a bad attitude and I like to think I have gotten better. With that some people actually enjoy RP or at the very least dont blow me off like they used to. Take some time to reflect on yourself and see what you can change. When that happens you will see a more active faction.

Good shout - we're working on it. If you've got suggestions for what you'd like to see in Bering 2.0, please PM them to me and I'll try to get them integrated into the end package.
