Unstable connection when in Cruiser - RipShredder - 02-24-2009 Now this is something i'm asking for a friend of mine. He doesn't have a forum account nor is he particulary strong in formulating himself in english. Whenever we play together and log into our cruisers he seems to get a very unstable connection to the server and thus getting kicked constantly. It happens during fighting, after fighting, during missions, travelling on docking approaches... It can happen in all situations and there is no pinpointing exactly why it is happening and therefor i'm asking for some advise. It's only the connection to the server that gets unstable as we are in constant connection over skype at the same time. Some information of his specs: 20/2 mbit ADSL line win xp kaspersky internet security (from what i can understand this is only a problem with Vista and i'm running it too without problems) his machine specs far exceed those required for the game and a dxdiag can be posted if requested. Anyone suggestions here? I thought i'd ask now before someone thinks he is cheating and using F1. Character names affected: Guard_Joseph.Lindforce Gunforce From all of his characters, only those 2 are having these issues. Unstable connection when in Cruiser - RipShredder - 02-26-2009 Anyone? Unstable connection when in Cruiser - Slainte - 02-26-2009 Is he connecting with wireless ? because wireless connections can cause problems like you describe. Anything else running in the background ? Are his graphics drivers up to date ? ( could also be graphics lag ) Unstable connection when in Cruiser - RipShredder - 02-26-2009 - Wired cable connection - Only skype and kaspersky AV running in background - Graphics drivers... hmm i'll check on that! |
