Experimental and Archived Weapon Designs

This research paper contains the Blueprints that I was able to collect before becoming a part of Auxesia. Some of them have been used in combat before by me personally, while others have not yet been tested and are to be tested in future projects. They've been bought from the Apahanta, a ship that should be familiar to anyone reading this document. The original transmission can be found here.

The MK-81 Autopulse turret is a formidable weapon that I've personally used on an Aquilon-Class Carrier before. It's relatively easy to use, and while it trades some accuracy for a massive increase in refire-time, we've had no issue hitting enemy targets even with unexperienced gunners. While they look like they would put a large amount of stress on the powercore of the ship it's used on, personal experiences have shown that this is not the case. Estimated amount of stress on the powercore is around the same as it's civilian counterpart.

The RBT-84h is an excellent weapon that we personally paired up with the aforementioned MK-81 on the Aquilon. It's close combat results were matching those of the Cerberus-Turret, while not suffering from the poor range that the Cerberus has. Instead, it boasts a quite impressive range of over 2600m, while still keeping up with the Cerberus in terms of speed. However, compared to standard Civilian (or otherwise) primary turrets, the RBT-84 lacks efficiency when fighting smaller craft such as Cruisers or Battlecruisers.
Despite that small drawback, it is a weapon that can only be recommended to be installed on any ship that does not fear Close-Combat.

This one is very self-explanatory. The EMP-Flak does what it's name suggests. It flak's off incoming projectiles just like the it's normal counterpart, but it has a bigger impact on the shield-systems of ships within it's radius. We have used these on the Aquilon as well, altough the results were not as impressive as I had hoped for them to be.

An absolute beast of a weapon. The Lewis Cannon is a weapon that has brought us only great results on the Aquilon. It's got unique characteristcs, that a new captain may struggle with, while an experienced captain will put these weapons to good use. Due to their age and nature, the Lewis is almost entirely useless on a vessel with active shield-systems. But on the other side of that coin, you will find a weapon that absolutely tears through enemy ships, once their shield-systems are disabled. Due to that, we operated them together with the MK-81, making for a combination that barely any ship can withstand.
It's artillery capabilities match, if not surpass, the ones of a Heavy Mortar, and does not put as much stress onto the powercore as a Heavy Mortar. Because of this, the weapon is highly effective in the right hands, while failing to be of any use for unexperienced captains.

These weapons have all been tested and rebuilt by me and my prior crew, and are deemed reliable and effective. Some more than others, but overall recommendable, especially if paired up with each other.

Onto the weapons that are to be tested, or have their results added:
