Error - Heartless - 03-04-2009

So every time I try to activate a mod that has to do with ships I get this:

Error: file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\ships\shiparch.ini' doesn't exist

I've uninstalled the mod manager a few times, re-installed it in different locations, reinstalled independant mods, nothing.

help?

edit: I got this one before I redownloaded and installed it:

Error: file 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\freelancer.ini' doesn't exist

Backup accounts.
Deinstall FL.
Deinstall FLMM.
Delete the remains of the FL folder.
Install FL.
Install FLMM.
Activate Discovery Mod.

Sometimes the game directory gets corrupted.. so I just purge it all when it happens to me.

yeah, I have my accounts on a flash drive, I uninstalled flmm and fl, going to erase the fl folder and re-install fl then flmm then try to activate one of the mods that comes with it and if that workds unzip disco again.

yup, uninstalling disco and reinstalling it never fails.
