Alright, topic says a lot. I have been pirating in a transport for a while now and was wondering about my performance, and about the community's views on a few things.

How much cargo is too much? I typically ask for 1000, small traders get a break and I ask for 100-500 depending on vessel. Should I go for more on trains?

Is a transport pirate alright by yer views? Been blown up ALOT and blew up many others. Makes more sense then "2mill or die."

RP~

I take what the sairs need, but no one really hauls food around, nor pharmaceuticals... So gold, engine components, etc. And, I let those without anything good for us, go free.

Place to pirate? Sigma 13 is always loaded with people, probably suicide if I go there, plus we don't need no diamonds or nobium! Where are the good commodities that we need going?

Bounty hunters... the few who know their role either RP well with me and kick me out or leave me be (unless I am working some trader over). Some keep me a bay while they escort traders past me. AWESOME! Makes me happier to see this...Kudos to you guys!

A BH cruiser blew me up with ease for no real reason, typical, but fair. I wondered, though, what is justified there?

Cops, I love them BAF cops, nice RP always, and a heck of a lot of fun by those blokes!

Other criminals... well good and bad, some have tried to ask for money, My character is not money driven so only a few understand taking the loot from me is better and more profitable.

Had some great RP with some traders and others who have come back for a vengeance kill. Had my share of silence and shooting, plus the occasional "engaging" Merc. One great trader even agreed to take food out to Crete in lieu of paying me cargo. Great job! Kudos!

Escorts, my own guys, some will help, others don't understand....it's not about money! It's fer our nation!

So, do I get a thumbs up? Or get lit on fire? Have those who have been hit by me like my ways? I look forward to some constructive criticism.

in 4.85 are aviable for piracy pirate train, pirate transport and slave liner (only human cargo). I have in dev part of forum model for another cargo class pirate ship but it is .86 stuff
___________

you can demand as much cargo as you want but asking more than is your cargohold make no sense. I think since you are doing piracy you must expect beeing killed by caps even when rules say they cant kill any cargo ship (am I wrong?)

edit: btw I like this way of piracy... keep goin!:)

My thumbs seem to be up.

Yeah pirating in transports always seemed more legit to me anyway, the other stuff is really just a protection racket.

Heh, so you must be ClusterWorm.:P

You should use a bit more discretion who you attempt to rob, else you might find yourself getting blown up.

Clusterworm? no that's not me, I've seen him around. Is he pirating in that thing? Neat I love competition!

Yeah, like Benjamin, I say this is real pirating, although in RP you'd probably have a more combat specific craft with you.

Kudos, piracy in trnasports can be quite profitable and should get even more so come 4.85.

Pie-rat in a trading vessel - johnpeter - 03-07-2009
