Discovery 4.85 Mission - Ash - 03-09-2009
I've got a funny feeling it may be the Battleship Maligny. As I regret to say i took a mission from there and a crash happened soon after. However, i doubt it is Battleship Beuvray as i had successfully completed a mission from there without a crash before the banner was posted.

Right, to help sort this out as quick as possible, it would help if people posted the missions that caused the crash, and the missions that didn't.
Basically, so we can fix it, I would like to know when, where, and what type of mission for who you were taking.
The last two parts are optional, but -do- help us quicken this up a lot.
Format is like this:

[b]When: (Rough Estimate):[/b]
[b]Who for:[/b]
[b]What kind of mission:[/b]
[b]Did it crash the server? [/b] Yes/No (Score through the one it did not do, using the code [s]message[/s])This way, we can make a list of the 'safe' zones and a list of what we need to fix.

Did a bit of housekeeping, sorry about the post order, not sure how to fix that.
funny cause I was taking missions from Reunion on the first day of the beta and there were no crashes. or if they were they were after I'd gotten the mission but before I'd gotten to the battle site.
edit; it did crash on the first mission that I took just as I got to the battle site, but every one after that worked fine.

All i can say is that i did not cause any crash with Gallic Navy missions on the first day. And i'm sure i took at least 1 mission of each BS (except northern Burgundy (which is not Maligny). That was on first day of public beta.
Where: all Gallian Battleships except northern Burgundy and Lorraine

According to what I've seen, not only the mission crashes the server, but some NPC encounter in Burgundy may also be related. (Especially Council)
Burgundy in general may be a bugged system.

There was a low population on the server this morning.
I took one "destroy ships" mission for the Royal Navy on the Burgundy BS.
Everything went just fine.
Server died approx twenty minutes after I completed the job.
It's still dead so far,though,perhaps was it more serious this time.
EDIT : Acknowledged Cannon's post,never mind my last sentence.

Well this isnt a gallia mission...but I had just bought a Talon VHF out at planet toledo, Equipped it with weapons and undocked...and decided to engage some nomads in the area, to test the guns...i had just blown up the nomad fighter, and tractored stuff in, and was headed back to toledo (about 25-30secs after the nomad exploded) when the server crashed...so i am not sure if that helps...and also...it seems that every time i tried to log back in, after server crash...i would see about 10-15 players on, then i would try to log back in as that acct, and would get a crash notice, i.e. the intermittent connection message....
so if i caused some of those crashes i apologize to all in advance...
also the CHaracter i logged in as was Arrogant1

A note to the person above Hoodlum;
When the server crashes, you'll still see people hanging about on it, this is the server 'hanging', which basically means it displays on your menu as active, but is not actually, no one else can connect either, the server is just 'holding onto' the other people. Basically, you'll need to wait for it to go offline (Not appear on your display), then try and reconnect.
