The House of Gallia was, is, and will remain a power that stands apart from the rest: the people who arrived in the Gallic sector and colonized of the planet Il-De-France were filled with anger towards the other descendants of the Western Alliance.

Believing that they had been abandoned to the worse fate, they were filled with pride at having managed to extricate themselves from a difficult situation on their own. Cities were built, propaganda was written, space taken and every inhabitant of the future Kingdom was part of the fulfilment of a single goal that the whole of humanity had been dreaming of for many years: the conquest of space, at any cost.

And when they discovered that they were not alone in this sector, they began to prepare for war. A war that, in its scale and accompanying horrors, would surpass all previous ones, both before and after the Solar War.

When dissidents from the Council revealed Gallia to the rest of Sirius and exposed the Kingdom's plans for a secret invasion, there was no time to delay. Resources, both material and human, were so depleted that any cancellation or delay threatened to cause Gallia to consume itself. The decision was made: in the 712 AGS, the Gallic Royal Navy began its Hellish advance into the Sirius sector, forcing them by force or by word to join the Kingdom's great mission.


Driven by their ambitions, the descendants of the 205th French Squadron brought terrible destruction to the sector, risking everything: the future of their House and their people, as well as the future of millions whom they burned alive on the planets of Leeds and New London.

Yet the Houses prevailed: at the cost of enormous losses, almost the entire sector had to unite to stop the march of the Kingdom, which met its end in the orbit of the planet New London in the 741 AGS. And while the Council changed power on the planet Il-De-France, giving Gallia a new page in history, King Charles suddenly disappeared while attempting to escape, the Royal Enclave, unwilling to accept defeat, fled to the Tau worlds, believing that the war was not over and that they still had a chance.

But they were only postponing the inevitable. The Kusari Exiles were able to restore true power to their own House, and they did not delay their revenge for the insults inflicted by the Kingdom: in 742 AGS, the Imperial fleet began its own war with the freshly formed Confederation. The Empire's unstoppable fury was held back by the sudden arrival of reinforcements from the Enclave: some of the Royal troops, with eyes and ears throughout Sirius long before the war began, only realised after it ended that the dissidents from the Council wanted only good for their House and did not want a bloody and senseless war with others. Centuries of propaganda had cracked, and the ideology of superiority over others was replaced by the ideology of Gallic unity in the face of coming difficulties. For there is nothing more important than the life of a descendant of the colonists from Île-de-France.

Thus, the Confederacy and the remnants of the Kingdom became one. Thus began the history of the Combined Fleet of the Gallic Navy.


The situation of the Fleet remains dire. All previous events have led to huge divisions within the Union's population, causing the inhabitants of each planet to stick to their own views, while the Maquis have become a new threat to the coup: both among the royalists and in the republicans, not everyone agreed with the outcome.

And while the Fleet's strategists are trying to find common ground among themselves, while they are trying to reassure themselves and those around them that the situation can still be rectified and the lost ground made up, while the technology, which never saw the Second Gallic War, parades across the planets in numerous military parades, the long-rebellious people of Marne are preparing to raise another uprising, the borders in Tau are closed, Orkney is buried under the results of the ambitions of the now-deceased King Charles, and the alliance with the Rheinland threatens to be destroyed by the efforts of dissidents from the Maquis, the Unioners and the Red Hessians in Cologne, each of whom has their own reason to hate both the Rheinland and Gallia, but not always each other. And from Roussillon come alarming reports of the impending return of the most zealous loyalists of the King to the arena. Those who should have been forgotten long ago.

This is a time of great events and great achievements, bringing with them both creation and destruction. The forge of shaky stability, like the forge of war, forges the heroes of its time: those who want to bring together everything that has been destroyed by years of war and centuries of preparation for that war, or those who seek to take advantage of the chaos to grab a larger piece of power.

The test of the Gallic Fleet's strength begins now. Fire and water are long behind us. Only copper pipes lie ahead.
