Official Faction Perk

1. Name of Official Faction requesting the Perk:
Ageira Innovations

2. Date of last Perk request:
This is the first perk request.

3. Type of Perk:
Adding the following line to Ageira~ Innovations ID:
"Can demand cargo from Junker Congress in systems bordering Liberty"

4. How will this Perk be used?
We would start demanding their cargo on the outskirts of our current ZoI - Liberty. Those systems being Bering, Cortez, Galileo, Hudson, Kepler, Magellan.

5. If another Official Faction is involved in this request, do they approve?
We have not contacted Junker Congress about this as we believe it is best kept completely in roleplay without prearranging matters and changing genuine roleplay.

6. Describe the RP leading up to this Perk Request. (If you provide RP links, please give a brief description of what we are looking at.)
There is a long term hostility between Ageira Innovations and Junker Congress that recently culminated and resulted in their internal order "kill on sight".

I have made a full inRP statement on this matter located here. It contains links to ingame chat logs, flight logs, criminal registry reports and communication channels. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

7. Is this request for the Player Faction ID only?
Yes.

8. Do you understand that if the Admins approve this Perk request, we retain the right to alter it, or remove it, as we see fit?
Yes.

Additional Notes
We believe this request is much better alternative to submitting FR5 request or placing a Sirius-wide bounty on their ships.
Firstly, FR5/rephack would be devastating to them due to how NPC diplomacy work. On the other hand, bounties are a cowardly way to outsource activity that benefit noone but PvP-hungry mercanaries.

Therefore, this request comes after reasonable and deliberate calculation what can be the most interesting and least devastating outcome that involve factions directly participating in this conflict.

Expanding line to any ships, not just traders; as well as anywhere, not just Liberty.

We want the following line on Ageira Innovations ID
- Can demand Counterfeit Software, Ageira Whiteboxes from traders not belonging to Ageira, Universal Shipping or DSE, and attack if they do not comply.

to be changed into:
- Can demand Ageira White Boxes, Counterfeit Software from ships not belonging to Ageira, DSE or Universal Shipping and attack if they refuse, anywhere.

4. How will this Perk be used?
To be able to secure our exclusive "Ageira White Boxes" outside Liberty too as there have been very rare cases of us being able to do nothing upon finding an unauthorized trader or even snubcrafts with that cargo. This is very delicate thing as per foreign law, we are not allowed to confiscate that cargo, but this would add excitement and possible inRP drama around our forced monopoly should we get caught doing it even if chances for such opportunity are close to zero.

No other official faction is involved.

6. Describe the RP leading up to this Perk Request. (If you provide RP links, please give a brief description of what we are looking at.)

1. Negotiations with Rheinland Government - A lengthy discussion about Fulda incident and our demands, their counter-demands and so on. Good stuff.

2. Negotiations with Bretonia Government - Straight to the point request that took some while for Bretonia to implement properly.

3. Negotiations with Kusari Government - Straight to the point request that was fulfilled by Kusari almost instantly.

7. Is this request for the Player Faction ID only?
Yes. We don't want to deal with Ageira indies doing this too openly without having any responsibility and all consequences falling upon us.

2018-11-25 was a day when without faction perk request Xalrok made Ageira White Boxes ID-locked to Ageira/DSE/Universal.

Discovery 4.91.0 Patch 6 was released on 2019-03-12 and included Ageira's unique Bison variant - Stegodon.

So personally, I count those last two as faction perks even though they were done without proper faction perk request.

4. How will this Perk be used

Chances to intercept ships with Black Market Light Arms are slim to none but it would fill out the void in how Ageira tries to combat this plague by actively confiscating the contraband if encountered. It is much more fun to interact with smugglers ourselves rather than report it to lawfuls (if inside House Space) or do absolutely nothing the moment it leaves it.
Independent Ageira players get this expansion to cover ZOI to avoid official faction having to deal with consequences if foreign lawfuls get knowledge of this. While officials get this anywhere and we will deal with consequences if it comes to that.

6. Describe the RP leading up to this Perk Request

I wanted to do more RP and events but the whole 55 days of pending custom restarts and heavy emphasis on Gallic front demotivated me to do anything after initial short RP. Maybe an event can be started once this goes live as now the rest of Sirius will get attention too, hopefully.
