CEO Martin Lawrence,
I come to you with disturbing news. I have to report that upon my arrival at Freeport 5, the station's health is at a critical tipping point. Each and every person aboard this station has been exposed to radiation and are showing minor symptoms. I will request the appropriate aid immediately.

With this I also bring news about the station's integrity and shielding. The station's structure is decaying. Slowly but surely it will fail. More importantly, the shielding aboard has succumbed to extensive radiation damage and will need to be replaced. At its current level, radiation penetration is near if not more 50%.

Defense systems are the least of my concern, however I must mention that with the current shield status - and though weapon systems are still functional they are failing. I will be placing a team of fighters on standby if any issues arise.

Summary:

Despite my current situation aboard Freeport 5, You've asked me to send a research vessel to the anomaly in omega-5. It was a good while that I lost communication with them.. But thank god they came back.
You will find included with this message Nav Maps. These nav maps have been color coded and recorded by the GRG Tyche.

While not being the first ones there exploring the uncharted system, we came across a resource known as Narcrahtite.

Now, I've never heard of this but supposedly this resource has been discovered before. In fact, according to my team - Corinth Research Station in the Omicron Kappa is paying huge amounts for it. I did some digging and this is what I found on it.

“Following the first attempts to scout out the Uncharted systems, one of the many fields yielded an unusual find by the prospectors in search for minable resources. "Narcrahtite" being the temporary name given to the crystalline formations found in some of the larger rocky debris near the "center" of the system were not only quickly marked as highly valuable, but also - after the first spectrometer readings came in - a mystery.

The material was described as "artificial" in nature, unlike the asteroid belt it was found in. The material is also highly delicate and the current excavation technology is not adapt enough yet to yield the best results as the mining lasers often end up damaging the delicate material beyond salvage.„

Mr. Mortar,
I know the current situation of Freeport 5, but this came something as expected.
All logistic vessels in the area will be assigned ASAP to be extracting and transporting Narcrahtite. Delivery point will be Freeport 5 and the Armored Transport units will be delivering them to Ames Research Station ASAP.
Hopefully we can also improve Freeport 5's status and to take care of his inhabitants.

Med Force

I've reached out to Med Force, and received a response from Med Force Two. No relief effort has reached the open dock I've left open for them - at this current time. Hopefully they or whom ever is to help aid our situation will be here soon.

Stations Integrity

As I stated in my first report, the stations structure is decaying and shielding against the radiation is failing. - For that, I've mandated a station wide emergency - despite health issues, for all hands that can hold a tool, or use their brain - to repairing these issues. But be assured, I am not working them to their bones. They work on a normal schedule however focused on the station. They are also receiving double the food rations for their efforts as well.

Additionally, I am requesting delivery of the following. -We will be using Iridium to plate the structure.

Narcrahtite

It's been difficult to accommodate the large quantities of Narcrahtite, with it taking up almost all the available space in hanger 1 - secured in their containers. But it's mystery is absolutely fascinating and alluring. I hope we can find out how it was created and what its potential uses could be.

It's does me great to hear that my name is being heard from the higher ups, in GRG. I will continue to do what I can and appreciate the much needed support.
I've also heard small chatter about Gallic folk aboard FP5 - bits and peaces; I don't know much about them other than that they have become a recognized house, atleast what I have heard. Make sure that pilot gets some in-depth data recordings, I'd like to know who these people are or what they are.

In part to the delivery of the ship, Please inform me of what ship I should keep an eye out for, or even the name of this "friend". I find it - a little bit difficult to believe a "independent freelancer - Corsair" would so easily give his ship to strangers. I will keep an eye out for it, so scans of the vessel can be done. Making sure there isn't any thing to warrant more suspicion. But when it arrives, I will be sure to have it transported to Ames for processing.
