...per month for the official faction that wins the monthly vote by the community. Of course you could not vote any of the factions you are a member of.
How about it? It might be worth a try to make official factions try harder.

Sounds good, But i dont think it will "Motivate" them to act different . The faction known to be a nice RPing faction will stay that way others will be as they are, its the members that make the factions. if the members are good the faction will be too

That could be interesting. Or have a "Faction of the Month" award in general? If one is highlighted, it might bring them more opportunities for people, who would thus be able to follow in a roleplay lead?

Incentives should come in other forms.
Example...
If you are a good RPer, you can take part in the Rheinland-liberty attack, if not.. you get to sit back and defend while others go and fight.
Its just impossible to enforce such a thing.

*ahem* Anyways. Yes, Marcel, you do good. But I've seen plenty of extremely ooRP indies too. It's not a matter of faction vs. indies. It's a matter of RP or not.
A good RPer will be excellent across the board, not just on their indies/faction characters.
