Uh..

Good thing the security measures in this place only allows textual messages, because my sigh was long and exasperating, Admiral. I could argue that the prototype ain't just something you 'turn on' for several reasons, security protocols have to be followed, we're still hooking up the feedback interface dampeners, etc.

But alright. I'll get the boys pulling overtime, and with luck, I can put it up and running tonight. If it works and it doesn't blow in our faces, I'll send you the word and results.

And thanks for helping convince Steiner to release the rest of the budget.

Good news first. It's running and purring like a sleepy kitten for the past five hours.

Bad news, in the first test run there was some problems with the new primer lines and we had to shut it down for a tick to re-address that issue. Left the workshop in mangles, nasty business.

Bottom-line, its turned on and running 20/20. So I need you or Steiner here for initial assessments and next-day orders. Drop me a date, place and time and I'll tell the sec-chief to prep the station for your ingress.
