I am contacting you regarding a matter I believe we both understand to be detrimental to both our Houses. An event in the Nottingham system has sent my Government reeling, considering the situation I am sharing with you a report that was incidentally sent to your own Government late last night.

Given your alignment with us in...certain matters. I believe it only proper to inform you of this and to say sir that it might be best if one were to...ignore, certain orders from the Federal Government. If the BDM wish to be involved, that is their business. The Rheinland Military is needed for a greater fight.

Dear Director Steiner,

The incident described in your appendix has already come to our attention. It seems that a smaller group within our military has mistakenly considered themselves militant insurgents. However, the identifications of the Rheinwehr ships show that these are not soldiers of the Marinestreitkräfte. This incident should, therefore, be seen by our governments as the unfortunate accident that it obviously is.
