Mr Hunt,

I asked for a 50/50 ratio between the quantities of the two commodities, not between the funds allocated. 25,000 hardware compared to 4,000 materials is not a ratio I can work with. Yes, I do need machines to build residential blocks and those residential blocks will need various equipment ranging from common lighting to high speed lifts, but I need to build them from something. I need cranes to build skyscrapers, but I cannot build them from cranes. I only need as much hardware as I have materials, more of it is redundant.

I believe this problem has a simple solution: you could instead apply a fairer distance modifier. I see that you call it a multiplier, but using the same formula to modify the price of a commodity that is ten times as expensive makes no sense! At this rate, I will only contract you for the hardware and I will contact Kruger or the IMG for the materials instead. You should add a fixed tariff per system, not multiply. I might not be an entrepreneur, Mr Hunt, but based on your proposal, it seems to me that you take me for a halfwit who has no idea how much anything costs.

And is there really no place in Sirius that sells materials cheaper?

The question present on your first communication was and i quote:

Having that said and after taking into consideration your predicaments on the ratios you desire, it became clear to our offices the lack of knowledge in what concerns the delicate matter of building of installations,

Luckily, you'v contacted the right Company, as it follows details on the constitution of bout Industrial Hardware as well and Industrial materials,

As you well noticed the cost associated with each crate, is very different, the reason for this is as plain as it is obvious, the contents of each crate are customisable according to the clients needs, this information is given to our pilots by your dock masters, that hen relay it to the crates origins, were the contents of the crates are setup accordingly.

Therefore our engineers consider that a ratio of 5 to 1 on the referred Materials is more than enough for the construction of your new (small) colony, in any case we would recommensd adding 10 000 crates of basic alloy in order to strengthen your infrastructures. Four thousand heavy machines are plenty to handle twenty five thousand units of raw materials.

Regarding your concern about our fares on Industrial Materials, well, again further information seems needed:

Our budget referred to the closest location in Bretonian space as Planet Nottingham, although you are right, there are cheaper origins for this crate as it follows

Lancaster Trade Center a Border World Exports installation, located in Newcastle, although in Bretonia space, this location is currently not accessible unless using a very dangerous and unstable jump-hole, as you may understand i can not ask my pilots to risk their lives even more than they already do to haul the Industrial Hardware,

Another possible origin for the Industrial Materials could be Mainz Storage Facility, this installation belongs to Republican Shipping and is located in Frankfurt, Rheinland space, again and as you well know, the political situation isn't the best these days what brings us to the safety issue,

Therefore our offices decided on the origin of the Industrial Materials to be Planet Nottingham having the safety issue in consideration as well as this would support Bretonia industry rather then a foreign one.

Furthermore, our distance multiplier formula has been the same for years and is the common practice in Sirius markets.

As such, our contract details remain as forwarded in our previous communication.

In any case, we do understand the economical difficulties present at this moment in Bretonia Space, as this is one of the reasons BMF is turning its attention to the Kusari markets, but the closest star path goes through Leeds and the Taus, extremely dangerous locations for our convoys to travel with their usual light escorts.

Maybe we can support each other, we have a proposition:

Considering your seemly small budget for this colony,
BMF would fully support and fund all the costs of your new colony project,
Our best engineers and expertise will be at your full disposal,
Funding will be made available for construction project up to one bilion Sirius Credist.

In exchange:
The BAF would provide to BMF with one of the decommissioned "London Interdictor" Battlecruisers, the HMS-Fide, with the sole purpose of escorting our convoys through the Leeds and Taus region until our convoys reach the Kusari border, were our pilots may enjoy the protection of the Kusari state officers.
