The Forlorn Zoner Trader - NonSequitor - 03-15-2009

It's obvious that a lot of time and effort has been put into re-creating the overall economic structure of Sirius.

With that said, I am disappointed in the lack of good, Zoner rp-oriented routes.

In 4.84 I ran a 3-stop route, 2 of the stops being Zoner bases. I ran the route in about 40 minutes and netted a good profit (approx. 35 mil). The route went through 7 systems, 1 of which was a house system.

Since we're still in beta, I suggest for the next version that the Zoners receive a fairly profitable run or two well within the Borderworlds. And if the route takes a month of Sundays to complete and runs through some very hostile territory, those factors should be taken into consideration when calculating the prices of commodities.

By "fairly profitable run" I mean a run that is logical and worthwhile to operate.

trading is not what it used to be, now it is more like take a commodity go where sells high buy something there and keep on going. the profit margin is not the same anymore.

Seconded. I fly a zoner whale and whilst I've been doing a few profitable routes, they're not exactly consistent with my own RP. It would be nice to make good money and still be a proper zoner.
