I am Rose-Marie Dumont, one of the Amirals of Enclave Defense Authority. You are one of the few corporations that are still loyal to the Roi and I think you have the necessary knowledge to fulfill my inquiry.

Without further ado, I am interested in prototype weaponary, most are lost to time and places, however recently we have encountered Confederacy vessels utilizing such weaponary. I am interested in a Rheinland prototype. Commonly referred as "Sledge" Cannon during Battle of New London and used by both allied and hostile units during that time. While our knowledge is rather limited regarding the exact specification of the weapon, should you have means of production, we would like to order two of the weapons, with appropriate turret mountings. Issoudun should be suitable for refit, unless you would like to perform it elsewhere.

Should you be interested in the general working principles of the Sledge's cannons, I will briefly introduce them to you. As you are well aware, this is a Rheinland prototype battleship weapon. Based on the C-48 Cerberus Heavy Repeater, the Sledge-class plasma weapon is not compatible with battleship heavy battery mounts. Nevertheless, the Sledge has several advantages over Cerberus-class turrets. It includes an ability to be mounted with a battleship primary battery mounts and increased projectile decay range than it's bigger brother has. The price of this is a reduced projectile destruction force (starts from 60% and ends to 75% of a theoretical Cerberus-class battleship battery, depends on the calibration and wear-and-tear damage of the cannon)

In general, the Cerberus, as well as any of its variations, consists of a plasma condenser, capacitor, loader and an energy converter. The converter takes it's energy from the capacitor and converts the nuclear energy taken from the main reactor into lethal plasma, which is then sent to the condenser before it is sent to the feeder. Condensers capsulate the stored plasma and sends it to the loader for the plasma round to be shot.
