Are you participating in The Scouring of Bering event to try and reach a desired outcome? If yes, then what outcome?

Clarification on what is meant by "reaching a desired outcome":
If you're participating as a particular side in order to sway the outcome of the event itself, then that is "reaching a desired outcome". Vote Yes

If you're just participating in the event regardless of the outcome (whether it is a variable outcome or a pre-determined outcome). Vote No

I came here to make billions, chew bubble gum, rp, smuggle and troll lawfuls in my raba and shoot some Liberty lawfuls in big fights
And I'm all out of bubble gum.

And the rest is also accomplished, there were some big drawn out fleet fights last few days, some took an hour over 2 systems with total random players gathering on the seb/legion side

The sep/legion side is getting better and better at fighting with inferior numbers and guerrilla warfare (by logging more snubs and buttcloacking, and backstabbing reinforcement lines instead of open cap on cap fights)

Too bad the event will end soon, it's been a lot of fun
and VERY profitable as well

The Bering event will end, but that doesn't mean the campaign is over...

I logged when there were reds. That is all.

Bering sucks

I made a few trips on a tagged [ALG] ship, employing maximum sneakyness with the usage of a cloak, mostly to show a presence of ALG for a secret partner.
But I'm not going to tryhard it like the last one, that's too risky.

Since my desired outcome was to make a few trips, I suppose that goal has been met.

I like the Seppies

RE: Curiosity (Re: The Scouring of Bering event) - Lemon - 05-31-2020

TBH The PvP seemed worthless and pointless when constantly ganked at the start of the week

But last couple days I'm at 10+ kills on my 2 chars, you must see the seppies frag numbers finally start to mount up

It brought total randos together and forced them to actually coordinate tactics together because the numbers were so much lower, or just get wiped out by pre-grouped swarming liberty lawfuls

Glad it will continue in another battle before the cool ID changes

But please reflect the difficulty in events and give higher bounty amounts to the side with way smaller player base - it will draw more players to them as well

I like (no) how I don't have my points after the kill

The "desired outcome" bit is in relation to the event.

Edit: On the bright side though, it seems people aren't trying to influence the outcome of the event with their participation. Sometimes there is concern regarding backlash / player frustration when it comes to events that have a pre-determined outcome. Such as one side (through player behavior) dominating the event in-game for their side yet the outcome of the event is in favor of the other side.

RE: Curiosity (Re: The Scouring of Bering event) - Lemon - 05-31-2020

The RP outcome should be that the boring cowards of Commonwealth government get erased
And Legion+Separatists cooperate on the battlefield and then join forces more in their fight against lolberty corrupt government

Which has been very much happening in-game, almost all player battle groups are legion-seps mixed.

There was always pretty much zero chance The sep+legion could stand a chance vs lib lawfuls in terms of numbers etc. to outright "win" definitely not OORP and very unlikely in RP
