With the Huegenot's bug, I'd say Huegenot. But as soon as that is fixed, I'd go with the Liberty Cruiser.

Huegenot by a long shot.
You may lack the forward gun, but it has better armour, more turrets. And all turrets fire at the same time no matter where you are targeting,

Heretic! how dare you question the huegenots power! lol jk i dont really mean that but, i bet that if you fought someone in a huegenot and they had a LI crusier, they would loos, their forward gun only fires straight forward and the hugenot and straf so fast, that it could dodge the shot from the cannon. Hell the huegenot can dodge a battle razor and a 2 inferno cannons from 500 meters away.

Thats why I said, Huggy, UNTIL bug gets fixed, then get Lib Cruiser. After its fixed, a competent pilot can hit it with a forward gun. Just ask Dalamar I almost got his Huggy with it. :P (Last version of course)

I would go for the Lib cruiser cause it can take out bs's and things that its meant to take out faster.
Destroyers and cruisers SUCK at antifighter defences. I kill players bs' in my BH destroyer, but DO in a Viper takes me down so fast its not even funny (well, mabey a little the first time)
EDIT: To make a new account, get a new user and startup FL. Then you got it. You can check that you do with Korrd's tool :) (simple as that really)

BTW Anti-fighter loadout for Lib Cruiser:
Forward Gun
2-3 Liberty Cruiser Guns (they actually work better than you would think, VERY accurate)
2-3 Solaris Cruiser chainguns.
1-2 missiles turrets
Remaining make Order or Liberty Cruiser turrets.
EDIT: Mcneo, my Kusari Destroyer was VERY good at anti-fighter. I took on 2-3 fighters with it in 4.79, where fighters were hopelessly better. Got one fighter destroyed before I succumbed.
