ADMIN NOTICE: Players Sanctioned - Dieter Schprokets - 03-19-2009

The abovementioned players have been sanctioned due to reports filed on March 18 for:
Quote:5.11 Using F1 in a PvP fight, as well as in any other situations that involve player interactions, is not allowed.

Fined all credits and guns, sanction notifications in hold. Lacking Money, Cargo was taken for one of you.

I just wanted to state for the record that I wish my first post wasn't in this section of the forum.
I would like to say that when I was engaging spaceball 3 I did not mean to leave the game. My dog ran through the room and snagged my power strip cord and pulled outta the wall. (My fault for laying a cord so close to the door I guess) I just thought the sanction was a little harsh considering the nature of the situation. I wouldnt exit the game and risk getting everything taken away from me for a cargo load of 5mil, or really for any reason. I wouldnt have really even posted except for this is my only character and that 150 mil I had saved up was the entire amount of my game playing experience. It's a really disheartening to basically have your only character all but wiped. Anyone that knows me in game would mention that I'm not the type of person that would do this sort of thing on purpose. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I would appreciate any leniency the mighty admins would care to shine on me.

Apologies for our cynicism sir, though we haven't had a pet related one for some considerable time, but all
instances of F1 use are treated exactly the same way. There are no excuses accepted.
If you accidently disconnect, it is your responsibility to contact the other parties involved as soon as humanly
possible. If the incident is reported as a violation of 5.11, it is acted on in every case.

Yeah I had heard the same thing from pretty much anyone I've spoken to. Getting the admins to reverse a sanction is pretty much like peeing into the wind. Well, unless your friends with one of them, thats different. To lose all that work over an accident is such a slap in the face. Most admins are so far up the mountain looking down that they have lost touch with the 'little guys'. You guys just hand out the huge whopping sanctions on people and don't even care for a second someone just lost everything they legitmately worked for over a misunderstanding.

This is my second and last post on this forum, and it will be the last time I pilot on that server. The way the admins treat people on here is almost as bad as the facepunch forums. I'd say you should be embrassed but you guys are too inflated on false ego to see anything but what you want to see. I'm sure someone will follow up with some huge rebuttal to what I've said here, but like the admins themselves it will fall on deaf ears, as I wont be here to listen.

I'm sad to leave this game, it was quite fun. But I'm not going to do all the work of trying to rebuild my guy just to have some crybaby pirate, that I actually thought I was cool with, report me for something that was out of my control and have me lose everything again.

We have no way of differentiating between a legit connection problem, and an F1.

If a person loses connection while being pirated, or in a PVP fight, what they have to do is get back in game, and tell the other party ASAP "Look, I lost connection. Want to continue?"

In your case that would have involved shooing your dog outta the room, plugging in your machine, and restarting. Two minutes tops. Then you talk to the pirate, issue resolved. No sanction report filed. People are very understanding about connection problems.

"Crybaby pirate" here come to offer a small bit o help, since the "my dog........." excuse seems more humorous then most, and these things ALWAYS happen when your out of bots and yer hull is starting to leak!

Well, I am just a nice guy so........here's an offer ta keep ya on board-

I'll give you ten million doubloons for a pic of your dog and the dreaded power cord setup. Oh, and I would like an apology, just a small one, since I wasn't crying at the time and only my girl can call me "baby." I don't like me ships name posted all over as a pie rat either, like to let others find out the hard way. *Turns away from the ship's helm* "Cats otta the bag boys, time ta repaint!"

Seems like a nice gesture doesn't it?

Now I suppose that is nothing compared to the 1.5mill cargo I asked ya fer, but I will manage...somehow. But as a hearty thoughtful entrepreneur, I figure mo big fish in the sea, mo fish sticks fo me!

OK so for Rocket.Mouse I have taken a picture. This setup was only temporary, I brought the computer out into the living room to try out freelancer on the 57 inch. It really isn't as maniacal as hoodlum made it out to be. No dog training to pull out any cords. She just ran through the room and tripped on the cord hard enough to dislodge it from the wall. I obviously hadn't put it in a really good spot but I needed power for the tower and all the other powerstrips were full. Right now I have moved the cord under the rugs until I can come up with a better solution. Seriously guys, why would I risk losing 150 million credits, and all my guns, over a hold full of 5 million creds worth of cargo? I'd just take my beating ride a pod back to cambridge and start again. I really don't care at this point if I get my stuff back or not I just don't like to be made out as a bad guy with some lame excuse.

Okay, you got me vote, if the admins find it in their big mechanized hearts to refundage you all yer monies then cool, and I guess next time I sees ya I owe ya 10mill..... and I'll probly pirate you again while I am at it! As far as talking to you in space, I didn't see you hop on again, it was at least an hour while I waited to file this report. I don't know you, you don't know me... nothing in the forums was posted to explain anything, you didn't get back with me in anytime so....I filed this, your not the first one to suddenly "vanish" on me, but you are the first one that I decided start popping pictures. Honestly, and sadly, many have gotten away from all my pirates by using the f1 magic, just now I am better trained to teach these f1ers a lesson. And of course, as I stated, I am a nice guy, I don't take any of this to seriously, and I will pay ya for those pics if or if not the admins re-rule in yer favor.

Admins- I accept this as an apology, if you can withdrawal my report and refund the money to this guy then that'd be awesome, and if you can't... well look at that dog...the dog says "der.... I want bacon!" (cuz he don't know it's beggin strips) but anyways thanks fer all ya do and keep up the good work.

Also, that rug..... is that the leaf of what I think it is? hehe. And the other a taco bell logo!?! do thay know you stole that? or did ya get it in a grande meal?
