Liberty Intelligence Agency - Liberty Intelligence Agency - 06-07-2020

Brief History

Established shortly after the founding of the Republic of Liberty itself the Liberty Security Force always existed in one form or another throughout the years. It's primary purpose is to collect, analyse, evaluate, and disseminate foreign intelligence, and to perform covert actions in order to protect Liberty and it's interests across Sirius. Working side by side with other branches of the government and the Armed Forces, the LSF has always handled situations related to public security and anything that may be considered unfavorable if associated with Liberty publicly. This has led to LSF growing to encompass nearly all aspects of the intelligence community in the House. While the Liberty Navy is the embodiment of more traditional aspects of defending Liberty's sovereignty, the Liberty Security Force's mission exists to counter the known and unknown threats, both within and outside Liberty.

Gallia’s advance into Bretonia and Libertonian border space by the late 820s created political turmoil, creating one of the biggest concerns of the Libertonian government in finding an effective counter to the emerging foreign and domestic threats. Threats which were created by the shift in balance of power. The battle of New London and the Glassing of Leeds sent shockwaves across Sirius and Liberty itself, one that spurred the government into action. Establishing the Liberty Intelligence Agency in 827 A.S as a shift of strategies to adapt to the changes in Sirius’s political environment, the LIA’s official purpose is to expand upon the existing objectives of the LSF. However, all the details regarding the LIA are classified, with much speculation surrounding its true purpose.

Reportedly working entirely independent of the Security Force, the LIA has been formed out of various handpicked individuals from all three branches of the Liberty Armed Forces, the government, and the civilian sector, with ongoing recruitment to fill its ranks. The LIA directly reports to the President and the Cabinet of the House of Liberty, independent of the military’s Intelligence Community. This is an unprecedented move, leading to most assumptions being that this is Liberty now willing to go the extra mile to preserve its continued sovereignty and security – through an unshackled intelligence agency.

IFF: LSF - ID: LSF - Tag [LIA]-

We will be looking to have our own ID, but are waiting on the intelligence ID to be fully updated first.

What does your faction add to the game that the current =LSF= does not?

RE: Liberty Intelligence Agency - SnakThree - 06-10-2020

I am of opinion that this faction is result of 10-year missing LSF higher up who refused to be "questioned" during recruitment into =LSF= after returning while behind-the-scenes Bellck is telling them to go official to make life harder for =LSF= and Liberty as his personal vendetta against Liberty Government.

I think we should let the Faction Leader answer and not be presumptuous.

RE: Liberty Intelligence Agency - rayne - 06-10-2020

Our faction functions on a much more discreet style of operation, LIA members serve as anything from bureaucrats to normal clerks in special areas of society that concern them. The biggest thing differentiating us from the LSF is the fact that we're a civilian intelligence agency, not military. We don't go out of our way to engage in combat and such. However covert ops and sting raids are different.
And for the most part we move undercover outside of Liberty.

I find this statement laughable at best. I opened my character up for questioning, not my fault the =LSF= didn't continue it.

Also this has nothing to do with not getting back on the high command of =LSF=

After interacting with them on my lawless character, I decided I didn't want to rejoin. As stated in what differs us from them, they are more military now and that isn't what my Julia Wolfe is about, nor what I want to play as. Hence the creation of the LIA.

Think of us as the CIA whereas the =LSF= are more military intelligence or NSA

Many governments have more than 1 intelligence agency and this is no different.

And for the record, I was planning on applying to go official before Bellck joined.

"Bellck is telling them to go official to make life harder for =LSF= and Liberty as his personal vendetta against Liberty Government."

Salt - but here's the truth:

I was invited to join by Rayne, and Rayne insisted in becoming official with an "Intelligence ID" not Liberty Security Force.
Due to the lack of secondary ID, Rayne went for LSF ID with LSF IFF, until the officialdom is made and then he could apply for a seperate ID.
As for the opinion of against the LibGov as a whole is incorrect, it is directly with you Snak3 and you alone if you want to talk to me about that then my inbox is open Official Faction Creation Requests is not the place. I was waiting for your slander to pop up on our feed, in fact I told the directors only two days ago to prepare for it. Alas here it is.

Please keep it constructive, this isn't the area for tit for tat or he said she said. Any further "assaults, or attacks" on members of this faction will be forwarded to moderators for deletion.

I'm sure Rayne has it from here, and I answered your "Statement?" in full you'll now have to find something other than this is Bellck's bandwagon because believe you me, this is not my faction nor do I have control of it.

Enjoy the rest of your day. Smile

(Also, I got Rayne's permission to send this post)

Not a fan of the =LSF=-but-colored-differently logo you're going for

if you wanted to be =LSF= you shouldve gone with the roleplay

as far as i can tell, you just want it to be a clone of the LSF, but sneakier
dunno

Bretonia has an Intelligence faction, as can Liberty.

RE: Liberty Intelligence Agency - Saronsen - 06-11-2020

yes, it's called the liberty security force

what im saying is that if you wanted to be the LSF, you shouldve just joined the LSF instead of cloning it.

if you dont want to be the LSF, you should distinguish yourself visually and in ideals

Thank you for your feedback. As for the logo, the person who designed the logo is also the one who designed the =LSF= one, thus the few similarities.
