Planet Yuma and it's population - Shiki - 06-20-2020 I don't know if it's worth being bothered at this point, but here we go again. ![]() It's very cool that CR now being larger than GMG, IMG, Core, Order, and Coalition combined by far population-wise. It's very cool... But can we at least try and make some sense? I, of course, will hear "bretonian refugees" here, it seems to be a universal excuse for every bullshit that happens during the recent patches. Even if we now have Bretonian refugees living in water, it would make the CR population an absolute minority. ABSOLUTE minority. CR wouldn't ever have enough people to police this population. CR IFF of the planet is not making any sense at this point, you of course will wonder, but I think that Yuma being BRETONIAN planet makes more sense if we make this population move. Please fix, idk. RE: Yuma and it's population - Venkman - 06-20-2020 Hey, maybe it's a typo. RE: Yuma and it's population - Havok - 06-20-2020 I've had talks in the past with Dev Staff about Yuma population and it's growth rates etc. The info card hasn't been updated in X years before this patch and perhaps they took all this into account on-top of refugees etc. I don't know how exactly this number is coming together though. RE: Yuma and it's population - Lythrilux - 06-20-2020 Can we just please get rid of population numbers? So many of them are inconsistent and ridiculous. I propose to either remove population fields entirely or to just simply replace numbers with:
At the very least when it comes to planetary numbers. It had 5 million people, about 3 million should be reproductive. 3 million can form 1.5m couples and even if they produced per child every year natural growth for ten years would make it 15m, they would be 10 years old or younger though. Counting that nobody died too. RE: Yuma and it's population - Y'berg - 06-20-2020 Considering all the times i've argued with shooty and the rest of CRHC about Crayter's overall population more than a few times, i believe oir conclusion was that it couldn't be more than 8 million, with refugees included. RE: Planet Yuma and it's population - Groshyr - 06-20-2020 Can you stop removing my comments, please? Maybe it was the real explanation why CR got 5M > 110M+ RE: Planet Yuma and it's population - Shiki - 06-20-2020 (06-20-2020, 12:56 AM)Groshyr Wrote: Can you stop removing my comments, please? Maybe it was the real explanation why CR got 5M > 110M+ A few hundred k > 5M > 110M you mean? I was questioning how original people from Tau 44 could even control those 5 million, quit 110m where would just be a statistical error. RE: Planet Yuma and it's population - Groshyr - 06-20-2020 You know, they had a lot of free time RE: Planet Yuma and it's population - Traxit - 06-20-2020 Considering this is a foreign faction that does not have eight centuries of roots, the population shouldn't be in the double digits of millions. |
