The Golden Chrysanthemums are a terrorist organization dedicated to the overthrow of the current Kusari government and its replacement with a matriarchal system dedicated to the good of all the people, male and female. They are especially concerned with the rights of the severely oppressed women of Kusari, and see themselves as freedom fighters in the cause for equal rights.

Over time, the Golden Chrysanthemums developed into an influential piracy and smuggling organization which controls Kusari's entire Cardamine market. Despite the partial devolution from an idealistic cause to pragmatic yet impulsive motivations, the movement continues to gain more supporters every day.

A new syndicate came to prominence in 818 A.S., the Sisterhood of Dreams. This radical front increased ties with the Outcasts, aligning them far more closely than the Chrysanthemums had been previously. However, after a few years the syndicate fractured and found replacement in the old vanguard: the Sisters of Light which aim to guide the organization back to its ideological roots but also strive for more independence from other factions.

This Kusari Unlawful official faction ID is used by members of the GC| - Sisters of Light, who:

- Can attack Samura.
- Cannot use Cruisers, Battleships, or ships with more than 4300 cargo space.

Within Zone of Influence (Kusari, systems directly bordering Kusari, Sigmas, Lorraine):
- Can attack Combat Ships.
- Can engage in piracy.
