// Edit: Thunderer here, sorry for this edit after you've all replied, but I need to correct my mistake and clarify something. Aland is not being sold for in-game money, but for inRP money. It is a storyline event. Don't state precise monetary values, better think of comparative, descriptive values. For example, the worth of 1 million tonnes of niobium or something like that. Nobody really knows how much a shipyard is worth inRP nor how strong the Sirius Credit really is, that is why, and also because asking for real credits for an NPC base that no player actually owns to sell, would be lame. I should have stated that earlier, but I derped out and assumed it implied because I've already done the same with Liberty about Harris. Freely edit your messages if you want.

Honorable ladies and gentlemen of the Bretonian Office for Trade and Industry.

Daumann Heavy Construction would like to offer 1.5 billion credits for the installation in question. Beyond that, we hope our standing as a reliable partner and ally of Bretonia who has helped your House in the past will improve our case.

Daumann Heavy Construction furthermore pledges to the Kingdom of Bretonia, that any and all lawful entities belonging to the Kingdom of Bretonia, in perpetuity, may reserve one (1) whole production assembly line should there be a need. Daumann Heavy Construction will supply manpower and machinery to aid in the construction of any Bretonian design, upon the provision of blueprints and guidance (as Bretonian ship designs are outside of our expertise).

Daumann Heavy Construction also pledges to only build Civilian ship designs during normal operations, and pledges never to build military craft without the express consent of the Bretonian Government

With warm regards,

Now this is hella interesting. I'm tempted to see how high Daumann will go. I think this would be healthy for Bretonias economy tho I don't think the High Command would allow me to spend a bigger amount on something that will very unlikely belong to us.
Safe skies.

Purchase of Aland Shipyard

Dear Sir Henry.

DEEP SPACE ENGINEERS is keen to purchase. Aland would prove to be of benefit to our continuing operations throughout Bretonia and beyond.

With the downscaling of construction due to the completion of the re-build of Bretonia's infrastructure, we are wanting to keep our experienced staff employed. Aland will be of great benefit to DSE|- and to Bretonia.

We can offer cash, valuable ores, real estate and build an agreed number of ships at cost to the value required. Further negotiations can be held in private due to "commercial sensitivity".

Mesdames et messieurs

I find this a somewhat unconvential way of selling an entire shipyard, however I would like to express EFLs interest in purchasing the station. I'm unsure as to the Kingdom of Bretonia's current opinion on our corporation, nor if they would even entertain our offer however I feel it can't hurt to try.

As such, the board has authorised me to offer a generous sum amounting to several billion in hard currency for the shipyard, it would be used to further our civillian ship manufacturing capabilities, as such vessels are now in high demand from external and internal markets since the end of the war.

We are also offering our services in reclamation and reconstruction within the Kingdom, if this offer is to be taken seriously, we're entirely open to committing to a decade-spanning effort, to further repair the damages made during the war and, in some small part, begin healing the very grevious wounds made to your nation.

I am kindly asking prime minister Hall to sell this shipyard to the Legion. These lads are worth your trust. I am asking so nicely that I even won't make a joke about Debtonia. Oh wait, I just did, woopsie.
