Make codename weapons spawn twice - Insanerobert44 - 09-04-2020 Hi, I am an old player returning to this beautifully aged game (like an old wine) with Discovery mod and I can tell Freelancer has it's unique experience, although I played and tried more MMO space games before. What I disliked years ago and I still do, is the spawn limits of some codename guns at x1 per wreck&character. Now hear me out - I know we don't want a ship full of Archangel guns - although we all dreamed of this at least once, but how about making the wrecks spawn x2 codename guns of the same type OR set the guns spawning at 2 different wrecks, either in the same system or even different (let's say one in Omicron Alpha and one in Tau-31)? This is more to fuel my OCD - I like having 2 pairs of same guns, each mounted on one side of the ship and is too much of a hassle to get 2 - either you buy them or hope you have a friend who can get it for you. Plus, I like exploring and getting rewarded for it, there are lots of wrecks out there just to be fillers with lots of junk - that are not useful of any kind. Equipping some with better equipment - Codename guns included - will improve the general experience. RE: Make codename weapons spawn twice - Lythrilux - 09-04-2020 This is hard coded unfortunately. (even more lazily, since all changes for all guns are needed to be done in the same config file from universe folder) |
