I am excited and honored to announce two near simultaneous breakthroughs in the fields of hyperspace and cloaking technology.

As it turned out, the operations Grapple Hook 1 and Grapple Hook 2 (logs attached), which took place during August of last year and which were originally deemed only moderately successful, have lead to a follow-up discovery that enables us to build a cloaking device factory of our own. During these operations, the Research Vessel Orpheus entered deep nomad space using a cloaking device provided to us by The Order. Thanks to the heroic actions of escorting fighter pilots, some of which did not survive, the Orpheus managed to successfully map hyperspace near what appeared to be a massive Nomad production facility. Although the retrieved data allowed us to acquire remains of multiple nomad specimens subsequently, the real value only manifested itself after it could be compared to the energy signature emitted from the fuel cell of a cloaking-capable nomad ship collected last July by two of our pilots. Indeed, the emissions from the fuel sell was weaker but unambiguously identical to a larger energy source mapped by the Orpheus in Omicron Major.

Upon further investigations by cloaked scouts, the source was found deep inside the massive structure, in a chamber at the end of a tunnel accessible only for small craft. The data was clear: we had found a nomad cloak factory. Following this discovery, the Carrier Athena was assigned to Operation Chameleon's Folly (logs attached), in which it jumped a squadron of bombers into the vicinity of the nomad facility, where they dismantled and salvaged its central element. I have personally inspected the captured materials, and am certain they can be replicated and used to our benefit.

However, building a similar facility would require an expansion of Sabah Research Section's power core and budget. You are well aware of the military advantages cloaking devices bring in the asymmetrical conflicts were are in.

The second mentioned breakthrough concerns our already existing Hyperspace Matrix manufacture. The Deimos class dreadnought Eurydice with accompanying escort =CR=Hotshot has successfully jumped to a beacon activated by the Thanatos cruiser Breakspear, with only 2.6k distance from its target, during Operation Whiplash (logs attached).

To top both success off, a cloaked Nyx has successfully activated a beacon and guided the jump of another Deimos with similar precision. We have therefore stepped up Hyperspace Matrix production to equip as many of our ships as possible in the upcoming conflict.
