Server and its sudden change in Ping - Vince - 03-28-2009
To the Admin witht he server.
For the last week now, I have been having 450 ping. Yesterday, it jumped to 650. So the server has become unplayable for me. 2 weeks ago my ping was 240. Del said somethin about Bridging Software that were implemented or something. I dont know. But were any changes made to the server a week or so ago?
And if so..please change it back. It is impossible to play like this.:angry2:

I said nothing about bridging software, whatever that is. In fact nothing has changed significantly on the server in the last week.

Ah well..That is a shame. Well, at that ping it aint playable. I guess thats it then.
Will keep my eye on the Ping'o'meter. Untill its playable again..Adios Amigos.

Found the USA Server. Ping is 200 there. Will check that out in the meantime.

I have the same problem with high ping.

OK, OK! I was lying!
On a more serious note, I've also noticed a ping jump, making my regular ping now over 700ms which skyrockets during a fight. But I'm fairly sure thats just my ISP being...annoying.

Australia is reknown for having bad internet :s heck played on an Aussie server on Left 4 Dead yesterday, my ping was 190 and another player who lived in Australia ping was 250 :s
