The holo communicator in the cockpit of Daimian Darks ship is ringing.
Daimian: Who is this bothering me while im taking a nap.. Sjeesh
Daimian gets up from the lazy boy chair he had fitted in the back of the cockpit and sighingly makes his way to the comminicator,
pushing the button accepting the call when he gets there and sits down on the pilot chair. A person pops up on screen
Daimian: Yeah.. What..
The man on the holo looks somewhat startled at Daimian rude answering of the call.
Jamie Larsen: Greetings Mr. Dark. My name is Jamie Larsen, i am the bartender on the LPI Sugarland and i have been
put in charge by the new base commander to setup a new contract for the delivery of much needed goods here on the Sugarland.
Daimian sits back and puts his legs up on the control panel in front of him
Daimian: What much needed goods are we talking about? And how long of a run are we talking about?
I don't feel like getting stuck on a never ending haul, I've got stuff to do Liberty.
Daimian now puts his arms up and puts his hands behind his head. Jamie has a slight look of disbelief on his face
Jamie Larsen: The goods in question are.. Well.. Coffee and donuts from Sunbucks... It is the only food and drink allowed on the workfloor
by the main office, and seing how we have a large workforce here, we need a steady supply of it. The length of the run isn't that long neither, we have a supply contract running with Sunbucks on Fort Bush, we just need to get a new logistics contract up and running.
Daimian drops his legs from the console and sits up.
Daimian: What happened to your old one?
Jamie Larsen: The contract ended.. And in the renewal of it the opposite side was asking too much to renew it with them.
With recent cutbacks due to current events here we could just not afford to keep them on. I contacted the Freelancer mediation agency, they reffered me to you.
Daimian: Sounds like it could be a job for me.. What kind of pay are we talking here?
Jamie Larsen: I also asked the agency about your fees, and can say there is enough room in the budget to pay you 5% above
you're normal rate. The length of the contract will be for a year with a month trial period, with the option to prolongue it after said period
upon mutual agreements from both sides. How does that sound to you?
Daimian sits back again and puts his feet back up on the console.
Daimian: Sounds like we have a deal to me. Send me the paperwork and permits plus the contact information i need for the haul.
I will start hauling when all of that gets cleared.
Jamie Larsen: Very well Mr. Dark, i will forward you all the required documets and permits needed and we will be looking forward
to receiving the goods. Have a good day Mr. Dark.
Daimian: Yeah.. Sure..
Daimian kicks the end cummunication button with his foot and dozes off again
