Ok, I have an integrated video card in my computer, which totally sucks for playing any high quality games, because the thing has to use the computer's memory/ram to run graphics. I've heard that the amount of ram that an integrated card will use is capped, but can it be altered? I.e., is it possible to 'allocate' more memory to the graphics card, and how?

Its possible to change your allocation of memory through your BIOS. I used to give my onboard 128mb video card an extra gig of memory, which made running some things a little bit easier.
But just remember, adding more memory to the video card won't make it -that- much faster. The main speed boost from Video cards is the core/memory speed, which for new cards is about 600Mhz+ each.

Note that if you do allocate more memory to your video card, even if you don't use that memory for graphical rendering, you will not be able to use it for any other applications.
