CUSTOM PLAYER BASE MODEL PURCHASES

After setting up a Player-Owned Base, owners can request to have the base model changed to reflect the station's nature & purpose. Either Scientific Data or Credits can be used to purchase a model. Below is the pricing of each core level model, alongside a further list of what models are available at each core level.

Purchase of base models of higher core level than your base is prohibited. However you are allowed to purchase models of a lower core level. Player base hit points are tied to the model used, not their core level. (Core 5 stations using a Core 2 model will have Core 2 hit points.) Models purchased retain their value, so in the event of purchasing a new model for a POB with an older one, a discount will be applied depending on what the value of the old model is (see below).

Keep in mind the following when making a request:

Staff reserve the right to reject such a purchase if the model does not fit the location / nature / purpose of the base.
Examples include but aren't limited to:
  • Newark models out in the remote Border Worlds and Omicrons.
  • Asteroid bases outside of an asteroid field.

4.95.4 Update:
  • Barge model is now available as a purchase option for all core levels. Listed costs still applies for keeping the Barge model after core upgrades.

  • Players can also choose any of these ships to show up as moored on their POB Barge:
     
    • "Stork" Civilian Train
    • "Mastodon" Liberty Train
    • "Shetland" Bretonia Train
    • "Colossus" Rheinland Train
    • "Ryuujin" Kusari Train
    • "Pachyderme" Gallia Train

    This is a purely cosmetic option and all the variants are otherwise identical in stats and function to regular POBs.

Updated thread based on 5.3 patch notes and previous replies here.
Replaced imagery with a clean list. All core listings link out to images of respective base models.
Core 5 models I am still getting confirmation on. What is here so far is available to use.
