GNN Special Report: A heavily guarded secret? - Nightfall - 11-10-2006 Incoming Neural Net transmission to GNN HQ, Manhattan, New York This is Philip Erickson, fresh persona non grata in House space, en-route to a refuge in the Border Worlds. I probably have half the LSF on my tail and an APB with a nice photo of my face on it, probably a hefty bounty on my head as well. What happened? I've been on a routine flight through New London looking for news. And I found some. After dropping out of the lane at Southampton Shipyards, I found myself in a middle of what seemed to be an ordinary Molly attack on Southampton which ended like this: Nothing unexpected! But it was then I realized I was behind an Avenger. No trace of any BAF, BP or BHG regulars. Then I noticed another Avenger sitting still by the docks. The Avenger I was behind just made a loop and was facing my Dagger. ... and a third came from out of nowhere, nearly colliding with me, making a pass and started turning around. As I was gliding away with my engines off I looked back to the Shipyard as it seemed they were guarding it or something there. I was also looking for another Avenger. As they were not hailing me, it became very suspicious. I turned my Dagger around and then I saw it -- a Luxury Liner! The IFF transponder wasn't transmitting anything - either offline for some reason or the ship is just built. If the LSF is guarding the place, it must be a big secret... Then I saw a fourth Avenger appearing from the docks, beginning it's attack run - straight at me! Saved by the bell! A new wave of Mollys attacking the Shipyard at Southampton. I rushed in the middle of the Molly attack group causing total confusion among them and forcing them to break formation. I cruised away to Trafalgar while the LSFs were busy untangling themselves from the chaos of Mollys and killing them in the process. Now I changed two ships already and heading into the Borders... I'll try to find out what's going on. What is the LSF guarding at Southampton?
