OVERVIEW
Floyd Maxwell and his gang are becoming more and more notorious the longer they remain at large. Over the last week they have hit six Universal Shipping convoys and each time they turned bloody. The Liberty Police have sub-contracted the Bounty Hunters Guild to go and deal with this Rogue and his gang in their hunting grounds.
Lucas Sims is candidate to become a Bounty Hunter Guild-master and is currently leading the operation. He has managed to make a name for himself through using just as ruthless methods as the Rogues against them. His successes has given him an ego as big as Houston and this operation is not just going to be another notch in his belt. The hunters will be focusing their efforts on the California system. Maxwell's gang have been highly active in this area over the last week and this is most likely the place to encounter them.

Details:
- This is a Story Combat Event. The outcome of this event is determined by player action and performance.
- For the duration of the event, California will have a 15 minute death counter instead of 1 hour.
- On Friday there will be a respawn event @ 7PM BST / 6pm UTC lasting up to 2 hours.
- $10M bounties have been given to the following IDs:
- Liberty Rogues on Bounty Hunters in California System.
- Bounty Hunters on Liberty Rogues in the California System.
- Liberty Rogues on Bounty Hunters in California System.
Event Restarts:
These restarts will be available for the duration of the event.
- EventBH - Manta VHF, 2 debs, 4 Derringers, docked on Planet Los Angeles, California
- EventLR - Hyena VHF, 2 Debs, 4 Sammaels, docked on Alcatraz Depot, California
NOTES
This is a mini-plot story event that may evolve into having a wider range of repercussions.
The two Non-Player Characters will appear in game, they can be Roleplayed with, protected or killed.
Admins maybe present when the two NPC characters are in game to encourage fairplay.
Players who perform well enough during the event, including their RP ability, may find themselves recognized by one of these NPCs and rewarded.

Now that look like an interesting event. Is interaction with the NPCs limited to members of their respective factions?
Edit: Having it run only through Friday and not into the weekend seems like a strange choice to me.

Anyone can interact with the NPCs, but they do have a purpose when they are in game so I wouldn't expect them to opt for a lengthy chat when around
