The idea of the Forgeships was initially inspired by Homeworld, yes, but I don't think it's a particularly unique concept - it comes up fairly often in sci-fi universes and it looked to me fairly plausible in this one as well.
The use of the old English word 'kith' (not 'Kiith', which would've been the Homeworld term, although the latter was most likely drawn from the former), the colour scheme used for the layouts, the logo and lights on ships are more of a reference to the series, but they are mostly an aesthetic/stylistic choice rather than a straight-up 'port' or what have you.

I know that you, as a player, always caring about RP, and I have read majority of RP you have done as MGE and really enjoyed it. Your faction design seems solid and I love the logo having IMG| vibes but yet being a separate and unique.
I hope, you will be popular and have interesting interactions across all the map.

About the logo - I'm glad you like it! I'm pretty happy with it myself. I will admit the IMG vibe wasn't originally intended, it was something I noticed as I was working on the colour scheme; at the time I hadn't decided yet what to fill the space in the middle with, though I knew I wanted a star of some sort, so when I saw the similarities I picked the current four-pointed star.
