Estemmed High Command members,
I am Operative "Onryo" of the Kusari Office of Intelligence and send this communication to relay newly-acquired data about the recent actions of our allies, specifically, The Core.
During one of my patrols through the Kepler system, I came across an Auxesian pilot which claimed to have intel about The Core's plans in other regions, away from prying eyes. According to the information presented, Core units joined forces with Outcast warships against a task force lead by Liberty units in a recently discovered system, Omicron Nu. The data has been sent to me over a secure channel and is attached below.
This matter must be closely analyzed; KOI units under my command are informed to treat Core vessels with suspicion and escort them within Kusari and its bordering regions. My report concludes here.

We thank you for providing us with this information. The service of the Office of Intelligence is greatly appreciated as always.
The circumstances surrounding the visual data provided are - to say the least - mildly confusing.
It is our hypothesis, based upon the small bits of data, that the Core considered Liberty's presence as encroaching towards their usual business areas.
It is most understandable that they react displeased about this, however their apparent acceptance of Outcast warships as brothers in arms is most worrying.
The Admiralty decided to dispatch a small part of the 66th Expeditionary Force to the Omicrons to further investigate if the Core happened to use a questionable opportunity in an unique case like this or if they regularly cooperate with the pests from Malta. We would greatly appreciate it if you or someone else of the Office of Intelligence volunteers to assist the 66th on their mission.
