Ramiel's strange medical history has made every one of his doctors question how and why he is still alive and well. At his initial medical processing, his first doctor was convinced he was nearly blind - or would be. After loads of medical examinations and tests, his doctors were still not able to determine how or why Ramiel's eyes appeared as they were.

Personal Affairs/Personality

Ramiel's insane work ethic makes up for his extremely laid-back attitude in regard to politics and other major debates in general. Playing into his overconfidence, Ramiel justifies his reckless actions with blind luck, a trend that -so far- has worked for him. He hasn't preached it out loud, but his past as a Navy pilot empowers him next to his peers in the Xeno Alliance - believing he can outperform all of them for that reason.

Ramiel's experience over the few years he's been in the Navy has given him a serious advantage over the bulk of his peers in the Xeno Alliance and most of the cutthroats in Liberty. While he's by no means a legend, he leans on his skills with overconfidence and isn't afraid to confront anyone he might come across in space.

Damien Morreti: The head of the Xeno Alliance seems to find a bit of respect for Ramiel, and likewise. While the two don't see eye to eye with politics, Ramiel's rigorous work ethic and past as a Navy pilot sit well with Morreti when they move underway.

History -- Origins

Ramiel Alan Kincaid was found in one of the million common suburbs on Planet Pittsburg by an orphanage. With no recollection of his past, he was given the name "Ramiel" to contrast his intimidating appearance. Medical examinations on him at the age of five could not pinpoint his family lineage, or where he might have been born.

Though his appearance was a significant hurdle to overcome at a young age, it ultimately shaped his attitude and desire to succeed. Ramiel developed a very strong work ethic, and drive to overcome any mistreatment he might have received. His hard work paid off at the age of 17 when he was picked up a year early for the Navy's officer training program which would later lateral him into their flight program.

Ramiel graduated as one of the top candidates in his class, he didn't much care for the political or patriotic drive that captivated so many others with the Gallic war underway - but he did look forward to the adventure and action. Ramiel was given the chance to show off his resolve in Cortez, any doubts his superiors might have had about his attitude outside of work were put to rest when they saw him fly. He was able to function in a group and hold his own alone just fine. After a year of fending off raids, he was sent off for an advanced training program with the Navy in Virginia for a few months before returning back to Cortez.

The next three years before the end of the Gallic war would be gruesome and bitter. New Pilots rotated every few months either due to mass casualties or injuries, one of the few who didn't rotate out though - was Ramiel.

The end of the Gallic war gave Ramiel a chance to settle down a bit more in Cortez, as he looked to possibly starting a more relaxed future for himself, his unit and higher-ups quickly began turning on one another.

His unit's willingness to conspire with Liberty Insurgents at the end of the war lead to a violent response by the LSF and the Liberty Navy in an attempt to keep the level of embarassment down to a minimum. Ramiel was caught in the crossfire and forced to go on the run for days. With nowhere to go, and being Outcasted from his former home, Ramiel was flushed into the Xeno Alliance with the intention of figuring out why he was outcasted in the first place.
