Guten tag, esteemed Insurgency Command,

I send this communication on behalf of the rest of the Rheinland Military in order to clarify certain matters.

After we've met with one of your captains, namely Commander Angel, and following a discussion with the rest of the superiors in the Military, we have decided to contact your movement for possible cooperation. Recent events have shown that Liberty does not welcome us and is not interested in cooperating with the rest of the Military's forces.

Due to the lack of cooperation between our two navies and given that Liberty seeks to expand and take the Hudson system for themselves, we are interested in finding allies with whom we could secure Hudson and ensure Liberty's expansion is stopped. It cannot be easily ignored, and to prevent this we increased patrols into the system and sent a contigent of capital ships into the system itself.

As you may be well aware by now, the end of the Civil War marked the end of all treaties signed by Rheinland and Liberty as well. Yet due to the previously-mentioned reasons, we do not have interest in contacting their goverment for the renewal of any past treaties.

The question which we have is this: Would the Insurgency be willing to give up all claims upon the system of Hudson if the Rheinland Military were to support, be it directly, or indirectly, your movement? We will await an answer.

Regards,
Leon Moritz
Flottenkapitan, Rheinland Military
