Copies of an old-style brown envelope were passed around MI5's agents by Secretary Jennings, who had served with them for years, with a briefing regarding a certain investigation.
It read as follows:
'I've spoken to one Commodore Duall, and have enclosed a neuralnet link with his testimonial regarding one Admiral Andrews, should anyone actually ask for it. Everything is as it should be, of course.
Also: We are not the 'Studies of the Glaringly Obvious Club'. We're counter-intel. Act like it.
