SSO joins SCRA! - McNeo - 11-23-2006
Today, SSO and SCRA shook hands over official papers declaring the SSO to aid the SCRA in exchange for an undisclosed sum of credits.
As many know, the SCRA and SSO have not liked each since the outset, and this may just change all that. People from within the SSO speculate that forces will be detached from Omicron Delta to provide a guard for the SCRA in Omega 49 and strike the Helghast and HF where it hurts. The aim for this coincides with the protection of Cambridge, as the offensive is suspected to be launched from a secure location on the planet.
This may even draw the SF into the conflict, eager to protect their home, and may strengthen diplomacy between the SCRA and the SF.
However, this is all speculation, and all three major factions have declined to comment on this gossip. However, Guild Master Stuart Payne had this to say:
"The past is then, this is now. The payment is adequate and we shall soon see the criminal element extinguished from the borders of Omega 49. Any other task the SCRA wish us to do, within reason, we shall perform."
On related news, the flagship of the SSO, which was recently obliterated upon planetfall to Cambridge, is back in service, sporting a slightly revised weapon system and brisling armour plate, along with a new AI system designed to jettison invaders on the ship.

Fighters spread between Planet Gran Cariana and Cambridge for sorties into Pirate conrolled space. Ratio 3 Cambridge : 1 Gran Cariana
Gunboats shall go to Cambridge and Gran Cariana to support the fighters in asteroid space. Ratio 2 Cambridge : 1 Gran Cariana
Destroyers shall go to Cambridge to support the offensive.
My battleship will go to Cariana to act as a guard unit with the fighters and gunboats.
another SSO battleship is to be kept at Cambridge aswell. Any other spare battleships either entering service or in service are to stay at Gran Cariana.
Sorties are to be made wheneve Helghast are on. The funds will go to the purchase of a system for our leisure.

It would seem that the SCRA has decided that they can do what they please in Omega-49. While I would have loved to throw in our support for them against the HF, it seems now more prudent to keep up our public relations.
Contact the local Corsairs and GoR units down in Omega 49. Tell them the Phantoms would be more then happy to help expunge the Bounty Hunter filth from their system. And then proceed to do what Phantoms do best; Mass destruction and death.
