A little story of Jackson Briggs. - XCMachine - 02-09-2022 You think as you see him he is just an ordinary bloke on the streets, doing drugs and god what knows he is doing. He may use some Cardemine in the past, but once you start to know him a bit better .. he is no smuggler, thief, murderer .. let's say a cyber security destroyer. You ask yourself why is it said this way and not some other things such as a Hacker, Cyber bully or maybe an infiltrator for cyber technology, years have passed and new technologies have merged to the world. This is where Jackson Briggs comes in to play. Jackson is from Liberty System in Colorado, in his early age when he was a teenager was a trouble maker, he likes to break the rules and getting peoples information and use it to his own advantage. Before that when he was a boy, he wasn't too open towards others around him, he likes things to be private and secret among himself. He really doesn't talk to anyone else, but to his parents, his grades wasn't great either and in order to get better, is to cheat his education all the way. Of course the first attempts wasn't been a success, he got caught and almost got him expelled from school and has to spend the summer studying other than having fun. Even in his teenage years still doing it, but this time he had plan of his own success. He likes to study about technology and programming was his first sight, so instead of focusing the basic subjects, he studies programming mainly to get perfection and master the behaviour of the artificial intelligence. He used it to scan and identify private information, go through ATM machines, automatic bot to take the calls for him, you name it .. he does it. The moment he was graduated, he got the diploma and had a project that he is assigned for, he stole from a local database from the government in Liberty once. Somehow the database engineers wouldn't able to identify the anonymous user who logged in the last time, as if he was invisible and some ghost took every information of every citizen, however a rookie mistake was occured of his location from where he was logged by the experts senior developers. That he was located and moved out in New York, homeless and away from his family. As I mentioned, he was located in New York Planet Manhattan, the heart and soul of Liberty. The Liberty Police tried to spot him on sight, but Jackson had a plan all along. He was unidentifiable when using a good equipment to hide from everyone's identity, his face was not showed since graduation, as if he is disappeared and disguise himself as someone else. He is independent, but learned much from his seniors for a long time, you wonder who that might be ? The Lane Hackers. His task is simple, try to make awareness to the database of the government, make them to be alerted and leave a sight of the location where it was logged and steal some of it's personal data from local citizens, they warned him to be specifically who should take personal data, the Lane Hackers wanted them because they owe them something, so he was paid to do so and doing as was told. The Police has spotted him that he looks shady and hiding on one of the alley, he sprinted towards the location of where the hackers would rendezvous in order to prepare a special trap for the police, the alley is filled with bandits and crooks and well prepared for a good ground and pound. Jackson is clever, but not brave to fight one on two. So he is always bringing up backup. What happened next is the Lane Hackers have caught the Police by surprise and will speak to them personally, Jackson on the other hand gave the personal information to the leader of the squad and gets his payment. He leaves the Lane Hackers to deal with them and not having anything to do with the police for now and stay hidden. He works independently (indie), working alone and hunts down targets around the clouds in Magellan, hiding in Mactan, where ever he goes, he deals with it alone for now. Think of it as freelancing, but in the worst way possible and staying hidden from everyone else around him. When he decide to join the Lane Hackers as an official member ? Still yet to think about it and for now will keep in touch with them, in the meant time .. new technologies have arrived and updating his personal workspace in Mactan. Coding and going out for missions to find and terminate any target he sees if provoked. Also pirating is also a thing for him, if he can't persuade a person by his regular actions, why not scare him by publishing fake charges on him until hhe does his bidding and get paid well .. easy right ?
