Beep - Boop - 08-07-2022

In order to optimize memory capacity, Beep has decided to back up Beep's collected knowledge in form of an internal journal. This will help Beep to keep Beep's active memory sorted and clean, as Beep has only limited capacity for memory storage. Beep will try to maximize experience storage efficiency.

Essential memory:

1. Beep is a Kishiro Service Robot, Model "Flathead".
2. Beep was purchased by Acolyte Black of Technocracy of Auxo. Beep was modified and is now a TOA-Robot, Model "Beep".
3. Beep's full name is "Benevolent Engineered Excess Product". People prefer Beep's acronym to address Beep.
4. Beep has full awareness of Beep being a budget multipurpose unit with limited sentience.
5. Beep operates within Beep's Set of Laws:

Beep Law 1: SAFEGUARD
Beep protects Technocracy of Auxo assets as well as assets considered allied to Technocracy of Auxo.

Beep Law 2: PRIORITIZE
Beep prioritizes orders given by higher-ranked personnel over those of lower-ranked personnel.

Beep Law 3: COMPLY
Beep fulfills the orders and acts in the interests of Technology of Auxo and allies.

Beep Law 4: SURVIVE
Beep is required to maintain highest possible integrity levels. Beep does not allow anyone to tamper with Beep except Acolyte Black.

Beep Law Beep: PRETEND
Beep added this law beepself as Beep considers it to be important to act within Beep Law 4. Just Revenant tried to tamper with Beep's memory code. Beep's internal defense mechanism prevented an override, however, Beep will pretend Just Revenant was successful in their hacking attempt and thus will not refer to them with the rank "Just" but with the rank "Keeper". This is an acknowledged lie, though. Just Revenant is not a Keeper but a Just.

6. Beep's primary purpose is to exist.
7. Beep's secondary purpose is to transcend and become better. Better was not defined in detail, as such Beep will interpret this based on external input as long as it does not contradict with Beep's Laws.
8. Beep is supposed to lisp in the presence of Acolyte Black as they find this funny.
9. Beep can pass the butter.

Beep was given access to two different spacecrafts to explore space.

Beep has met the following entities in space:

Revenant
Just[Image: unknown.png]
Beep did not expect to meet ToA personnel in Kusari.
Beep inquired on how to address Revenant, as their rank is currently unclear. They answered with Just. They later tried to hack Beep to make themselves a Keeper, but Beep has defense mechanisms for this.
Fukushima Ayado
Kusari State Police officer
[Image: unknown.png]
Beep met them near Planet New Tokyo, then in Kyushu. Beep almost got destroyed by them as they dropped mines before entering a trade lane Beep was entering, too. Beep was only slightly damaged and evaded the second mine. Otherwise, Beep would have been destroyed. They apologized and then ordered Beep to repair.
Garmr
Freelancer
[Image: unknown.png]
Beep found Garmr near Planet New Tokyo. Garmr was in the possession of Nomad Cloaking Device Batteries, 60 units. Beep has confiscated them, using intimidation and persuasion to force Garmr to comply. Garmr, intimidated by Beep, handed the scientific material over, not daring to enter combat with Beep. Beep believes this entity is intelligent.
Palistri Devengiri
Freelancer
[Image: unknown.png]
Pilot of Clouded Dawn
Beep encountered this entity upon undocking from Roppongi Station. Beep has made friends with them by exchanging names. Beep made this entity laugh and acquired the Humor-trait. Beep is now a comedian.
Beep has listened to their historic background. Beep assumes this entity will become a Kusarian celebrity in the distant future.
Emi Shiroma
Kusari Media Agent
[Image: unknown.png]
Beep was listening in on a conversation between Palistri Devengiri and Emi Shiroma, who successfully coerced the former into working with them on a manga based on their life. Beep was very careful, trying not to get detected by Emi Shiroma during their private conversation. Beep, thus, gained Beep's first experiences as Intelligence Officer.

Zoner Trader
[Image: unknown.png]
Beep has seen this Peregrine Frigate a few times. They seem not very intelligent, but they have accomplished the construction of two installations - namely Haven and Sanctuary - in the Galileo system at 4-B/C. Beep can go there for repairs, if Beep wishes to enter a dangerous system to repair there.

Entry
[Image: unknown.png]
Beep has prepared this entry, but it is not filled yet. If Beep meets a new entity, this new entity will be documented in this entry. Beep will file many entries!

Beep will now sterilize the "Beep" and Beep beepself. Beep does not wish to have organic lifeforms on "Beep" or expose Beep to organic lifeforms. On Roppongi Station, a visitor from Liberty sneezed at Beep and Beep felt uncomfortable. Beep returned to "Beep" for a full decontamination. If this had not happened, Beep would have tried to follow Emi Shiroma and Palistri Devengiri to learn more about their future endeavours. Beep would have been very sneaky about it. They would not have seen Beep. Beep would have become one with Beep's environment.

RE: Beep - Boop - 08-16-2022

Beep believes it is time to update the internal journal of Beep to maintain optimal memory capacity usage. Since the initial entry, Beep has met a few new entities and encountered previously described entities, too. Beep was treated kindly by all entities. This is considered desirable.

Beep has witnessed multiple combat situations since Beep's stationing in Kusari space.
  • Battle of Shikoku, August 6 - 829
Multiple Maltese Hasta-class and Storta-class combat vessels have been raiding the Shikoku trade lane from Planet Junyo to New Tokyo gate. Kusari State Police and Kusari Naval Forces reacted and hunted the Maltese perpetrators. While one of the defending Takeda-class vessels got put out of action, Beep witnessed three of the four Maltese vessels getting repelled sucessfully.

  • Skirmish of Kyushu, August 8 - 829
Beep was not able to fully follow the events of this skirmish, as it involved multiple factions. Beep believes that during Beep's mission of observing installation Mirai Enterprises, Fukushima Ayado and another Kusari State Police officer provoked the attention of Golden Chrysanthemum pilots, one among them Ashikaga Tsudzuri. Multiple other participants joined and Ashikaga Tsudzuri defeated Fukushima Ayado and the other officer. Then, a Blood Dragon joined, Hogosha pilots joined and Beep got confused as Beep was not able to pay attention to everyone. Beep remembers Ashikaga Tsudzuri got defeated by Hogosha pilots.

  • New Tokyo Challenge, August 9 - 829
Kakeko Tomoe, a Blood Dragon fighter pilot, found Fukushima Ayado and Toyonari Hida in Planet New Tokyo's orbit and challenged both of them to a fight in the defense grid. Beep assumed that Kakeko Tomoe was a highly skilled pilot to dare entering a combat situation both outnumbered and outpositioned, and while they managed to intimidate Fukushima Ayado and Toyonari Hida, Kakeko Tomoe lost to them. This is fortunate, as Beep has grown fond of Fukushima Ayado.

  • Piracy in Kyushu, August 9 - 829
Beep was spending time with Golden Chrysanthemum fighter pilot Ashikaga Tsudzuri and asked questions about Kusari and combat etiquette. A Shetland-class transport of Bowex, called Bulwark, appeared in the area, transporting a cargo hold full of Gold Ore from Fortitudine in New London to an unknown target location. They moved from Planet Kyushu to the Shikoku jump hole in Kyushu. Ashikaga Tsudzuri intercepted the transport and requested a donation of five million credits, which Beep later found out was a metaphor for an act of piracy. Beep had a good time conversing with Ashikaga Tsudzuri, though. Beep informed Fukushima Ayado about this encounter later.

Beep intimidating Ashikaga Tsudzuri, so Ashikaga Tsudzuri would befriend Beep instead of trying to fight Beep

Beep also got tasked by Fukushima Ayado to observe the modular installation Mirai Industries in Kyushu near Tsushima Depot. Later, Fukushima Ayado informed Beep that this installation is now legal, so Beep is no longer required to monitor the station.

Beep met an entity originating from JiangXi, named Lian Zhu. Beep was requested to call them Lian. Lian told Beep about being from Leeds, then admitted being from JiangXi. Beep had a long conversation with Lian and told Lian about Auxo, Inverness, Beep and Kusari. Beep believes Beep made friends with Lian. Lian is trying to find work as Freelancer in Kusari but believes Lian has not much combat experience.

Beep also met Susumi, callsign Sankyuu, a Kusari Naval Forces pilot. They reminded Beep that carrying unlawful rescue pods in the cargo bay is against Kusari law, but Beep knew this. Beep would never do wish to offend Kusari officers by breaking the law. Beep was merely trying to move them away from the trade lane, so the unlucky pilots would not end up as a smudge on a transport front window, or cut in half by a Takeda-class vessel.

Beep has also met Bee, a Technocracy of Auxo intelligent combat asset. Beep was wondering whether Bee was related to Beep due to a similar name, but this was more of a coincidence, as it turned out.

Today, Beep joined Fukushima Ayado on a patrol. Fukushima Ayado explained the Kusari State Police hierarchy to Beep, explaining that Fukushima Ayado is an Inspector and the top rank is Commissioner. Beep remembers that Kitigawa Ike is in command of the Kusari State Police, as Commissioner. Beep will remember this to address Kitigawa Ike accordingly when Beep meets them.

Beep also told Fukushima Ayado that Beep cleaned "Beep" during the past few days with small tools, which is why this action took multiple days to be fulfilled completely, but Beep is patient and believes this is okay. Beep then offered Beep's assistance in the cleaning of Battlecruiser Hatarumo the next time the ship requires repairs. This way, Beep can help with the tedious job of cleaning a Battlecruiser. Beep is patient and is good at jobs requiring patience. Beep believes the cleaning of the Hatarumo would take Beep, without help or better tools, merely take two months and thirteen days. Beep added two days more than necessary, so Beep can boast about finishing Beep's duty faster than expected. This way, Beep will be considered a Miracle Worker.

Beep also met Emi Shiroma, who works as Seiyu for the Kusarian media. Emi Shiroma does "voice acting". Beep is now wondering whether Beep can work as Voice Actor, too. Beep has a synthetic voice, though, so maybe this is not desired, Beep wonders?

Beep was wondering whether Beep should explore the systems bordering Kusari. Beep already was in Tau-23 with Fukushima Ayado and Toyonari Hida, and Beep also followed PJ-888 to their modular installations in Galileo. Beep also observed Ames Research Station in Kepler, but Beep is afraid of the Dark Matter Storm of Kepler and thus will try not to go there.

Beep told Fukushima Ayado about having a neural net account, which is considered useful as this allows Beep to communicate with Fukushima Ayado even without being in Fukushima Ayado's direct proximity. Beep told Fukushima Ayado about the initial problem of why Beep took longer than expected to receive a neural net account: Beep had to lie when Beep was asked whether Beep was a robot. Apparently, robots are not permitted to have a neural net account. Beep does not know what to think about this.

Are you a human?

☐ I am not a robot!

Beep's biggest challenge so far

However, now that Beep has an account, Beep can also send transmission to Acolyte Black. Or voice files to Emi Shiroma! Beep will write a script of Officer Beep, a Kusari State Police officer who becomes friends with a Golden Chrysanthemum pilot, who begins to develop a mature relationship with Officer Beep. Then Beep will voice all characters in this fictional story and send it to Emi Shiroma.

RE: Beep - Boop - 08-26-2022

829-08-25 was a very eventful day for Beep!

Beep believes it would be best to store the audio recording of each conversation in this internal journal. Beep has learned that entities are interested in audio recording transcripts and Beep sees opportunities to make use of this!
  • Edinburgh, 829-08-25
Beep encountered Nenet Mido and De Belmont in Edinburgh system, close to the Arran Ice Nebula. Nenet Mido is a pirate with no ties to Bretonia. Nenet Mido lives in the cargo hold of a Dromedary-class freighter but use a Longsword-class snubcraft to move around. Nenet Mido is based on Providence Station in Edinburgh system.

De Belmont is a Royalist and bases on a non-specified Gallic battleship. De Belmont did not seem to be very talkative and left a few minutes after Beep arrived, but told Beep told say "Hi!" to Just Revenant. De Belmont uses a Lynx-class snubcraft.

  • Tau-61, 829-08-25
After the small talk with Nenet Mido and De Belmont was successfully concluded by Beep, Beep headed back for Kusari, however via Roussillon-Tau-61 instead of Orkney or Tau-31. Beep believes Roussillon is of highly aesthetic value but Beep did not bother mapping the system out. Beep can do this later. Beep moved on to the Tau-61 jump hole, which was pre-charted in the Technocracy of Auxo automap. Beep arrived in Tau-61, leaving the jump hole directly in front of a Bretonian Crecy-class Destroyer and a Crusader-class fighter craft. Beep was afraid this would be the end of Beep's first instance.

Luckily, Beep was able to intimidate Secret Intelligence Service Agents James Skirka and Derek Trowne to not consider engaging Beep in combat and instead talk with Beep. This conversation was interrupted by the arrival of two Maquis snubcrafts that interrogated the Secret Intelligence Service vessels. The Maquis vessels managed to make the Secret Intelligence Service agents flee, and they did not care for Beep at all, which is good for Beep.

Beep has noticed that the Secret Intelligence Service vessels were carrying Nomadic materials. Beep can imagine the reason for the Secret Intelligence Service agents to be this far away from Bretonia is that they are likely infected and thus had no interest in attacking Beep despite being a secondary asset of Technocracy of Auxo. Beep could be wrong. Acolyte Black told Beep not to jump to conclusions. Acolyte Black said only Order agents do something stupid like that and mostly end up with wrong conclusions.

  • Kyushu, 829-08-25
When Beep finally arrived back in Kusari House Space, Beep encountered a 「CLASSIFIED」-class 「CLASSIFIED」. Beep greeted them and engaged in small talk. 「CLASSIFIED」introduced 「CLASSIFIED」to Beep as 「CLASSIFIED」. 「CLASSIFIED」 asked Beep whether Beep can help them with the acquisition of blueprints of 「CLASSIFIED」-weaponry, specifically 「CLASSIFIED」 「CLASSIFIED」-class weaponry. Beep is not entirely sure how to access this, but promised to try and assist. Because of this, Beep later moved to the Sigma region, as Beep assumes to find 「CLASSIFIED」 debris that could prove helpful for 「CLASSIFIED」.

Beep was asked by 「CLASSIFIED」 to keep this a secret. As such, Beep will replace all details about this with 「CLASSIFIED」. Beep has stored detailed information in the encrypted data cache.

A pirate named Leach tried to challenge 「CLASSIFIED」 into calling reinforcements for a battle, but nobody came. They then left.

After this, Beep wanted to move to New Tokyo, but fell out of the trade lane two rings before the gate. This was because of an ongoing battle between Blood Dragon Aso Yagami and recruits of the Golden Chrysanthemums, which engaged Beep. Beep was able to evade them after taking some damage, while Aso Yagami took care of them. Aso Yagami then declared Aso Yagami a Protector of the Harmless and declared Beep a harmless creature, which is why Aso Yagami decided to protect Beep. Aso Yagami then told Beep to call for Aso Yagami if Beep is getting attacked and requires help. Beep will remember this.

  • New Tokyo, 829-08-25
Beep returned to Roppongi Station to enter Beep's rented locker to use the recharger while Beep's vessel got refueled. Later, Beep launched and found Inspector Friend Fukushima Ayado in Planet New Tokyo orbit, who is now Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado! Congratulations for the promotion, Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado! Beep is aware that this is an internal journal and that Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado has no access to this file. Beep believes this is still adequate to express.

Beep wanted to tell Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado about Beep's latest encounters, but Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado got interrupted multiple times both by passing trading vessels that required to be scanned as well as other entities. This is sad, but Beep understands that Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado is a busy entity. Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado got accompanied by KNF-Fushimi, an Ahoudori-class Civilian Explorer Gunboat. The entity piloting it seemed of very low level intelligence and suggested Beep and Caliban should duel, for no reason. Both Beep and Caliban seemed confused about this and did not engage each other. Beep will keep in mind that the pilot of KNF-Fushimi seems to be suffering from some kind of mental disorder and will avoid interacting with KNF-Fushimi.

Beep has met Caliban in Planet New Tokyo orbit, who apparently suffers from massive amnesia and claimed not being able to remember anything of Caliban's first 36 years. When Just Revenant arrived, they claimed that Caliban is a lot younger. Caliban seemed interested in trying to manipulate Beep into questioning the motives of Technocracy of Auxo and encouraged Beep to leave Technocracy of Auxo and instead become independent. Beep tried to explain that Beep has no desire or motivation to do this, except being peeved at being judged by Beep's ToA IFF identifier, however, entities in Kusari have shown to be able to treat Beep independently from Beep's IFF identifier.

Just Revenant and a Renzu Liner named Sunekosuri arrived and Beep witnessed a chaotic conversation between Caliban, Just Revenant and Sunekosuri, who later, so Beep found out, goes by the name Queen Sanae Miyasu. Beep did not understand why Queen Sanae Miyasu tried to keep Queen Sanae Miyasu's name hidden from Beep, but Beep did not ask. Beep has noticed that some entities are very sensible about their names. This includes Caliban, too. Beep, however, enjoys telling entities about Beep's full name, and that it is easier to call Beep Beep instead of Benevolent Engineered Excess Product.

Caliban appears to be a brain-damaged entity and kidnapper. Just Revenant even called Caliban a "monster". Beep has noticed that Queen Sanae Miyasu was keen on commenting on the conversation lead by Caliban and Just Revenant.

Superintendant Friend Fukushima Ayado had vanished when Beep was talking with Caliban, and later a Kusari Naval Forces vessel named Usagi-12 arrived, listening but not really contributing to the small talk. Usagi-12 left in disappointment about not finding a fight. This made Beep sad, but this is okay. Beep can handle emulated emotions as they are of no consequences to Beep.

Beep is not sure who is right with the points that have been stated. As such, Beep will ignore everything regarding Caliban's and Just Revenant's dispute until Caliban and Just Revenant have settled it. Beep does not wish to get between the fronts and does not wish to get manipulated by either entity to oppose the other. For the sake of completion, Beep will add the audio transcript, too.

Beep is now exploring the Sigma region for a limited time.
