46th|LNS-Anchorage | Spec Ops ID - TheDoctorXI - 11-02-2022

1. Forum name of the owner:
@TheDoctorXI

Funds for the application can be taken from 46th|LNS-Anchorage.

2. What exactly are you requesting?
Special Operative ID
(To match the current 46th ID with no additions*)

3. Exact name, identification and affiliation of the character:
Name: 46th|LNS-Anchorage
ID: Liberty Navy 46th Fleet ID (*As above)
Affiliation: Liberty Navy

4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
Since being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, Martin had taken command of the Interdictor Class, Anchorage. This remained his flagship all the way through to becoming a member of High Command (Rear Admiral Lower Half) and progressing to the top as the Fleet's Commanding Officer. Being a Battlecruiser, despite being able to effect a reasonable offensive arsenal against a variety of class of vessels, as the Fleet's CO, he felt it lacking as a platform for Command and Control. While the Osiris doesn't meet the modern capabilities and firepower of the more modern Overlord Class, it does marginally out-match it in terms of manoeuvrability and sleekness to evade incoming fire - this was seen as a more sought after characteristic and was decided upon as an acceptable trade-off.

Martin sought the assistance of the Fifth Fleet, given they were already operating the LNS Akhetaten, and plans were put in to place to run a combined project. Project Anchorage for the Forty-Sixth Fleet and Project Arizona for the Fifth Fleet.

5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planning to achieve on this character?
Short term:
To bring the Osiris to full operational capabilities and deploy her as a fully functioning asset of the Forty-Sixth. To document, report on and further develop both Martin's and Anchorage's on-going career/use within the Fleet.

Long term:
To further build relations amongst players of Liberty. Utilise the Anchorage to follow Naval doctrine and fully demonstrate a shining example of what it means to be in the Navy.

6. Provide links to the relevant forum roleplay.
7. Provide a cliffnote/summary for the links provided above.
The above links is everything, from start to finish. Detailing the planning, execution, construction, all appropriate testing, fitting, loadout, various equipment, etc. of the project. All communications to and from both Fleets through the process. All communications to appropriate parties, such as the LSF, LPI and the Liberty Government.

8. How long has this character been building its backstory?
Martin joined the 46th Fleet in April of 2021.
The project was officially conceived on 07-27-2022, so has been about 3 months in the making overall.

9. If you feel that you would like to provide us with character references, specify whom.
  • @Tenshi - Was of great assistance. Both encouraged and supporting me throughout.
  • @Kalhmera - As above, gave some great advice.
  • @Greylock - Ran the project for Fifth and we came up with various ideas together.
  • @Ice Princess - For giving the go-ahead on behalf of Fifth to proceed with the project.
  • @All Worlds - For the logistical support

Thank you to all participating members of the Fifth Fleet, Forty-Sixth and certainly AWES - you guys literally astonished me with how effectively you dealt with the logistical phases for this.
