Kudos Award - Leo - 12-30-2022
It would be a bit of a difficult task, but we all know the Kudos post (for those that somehow don't it's this post). We regularly post here to give props to those who do great things in game and on the forums whether that be great RP, lending a helping hand to a new player, or just being a good person.
I propose that each year, we sift through the Kudos posts for the year and see who got the most Kudos or do a sort of random drawing of those people and give them some kind of award for being a decent person for the year.
Just a small recommendation. Others are welcome to add to this idea or clarify it a bit. This is just a rough idea that I suddenly had after reading through a few of the posts for the year.

These "competitions" are always susceptible to abuse and exploit. Nothing stops them from getting friends to bombard it in their favour.

I send kudos a lot, but usually have no clue who's the recipient - they are people in-game, to collate all of those and tie their various characters that got kudos to actual people to quantify it would be close to impossible

8 posts deep in this thread which was made in the spirit of what I assume comes down to 'lets celebrate the good in the community' and we've already slandered the poster, the idea, the proposed execution and the dev team, neat.
That said Kauket and Lemon have raised constructive points, people could bombard to influence outcomes and quantifying this would be a major pain on whoever attempted it.
Maybe just give special mention to the highlights you experienced/ appreciated over the past year in Disco? No prizes, just mentioning highlights. (even then there's the risk of some persons 'highs' being anothers 'lows' but eh, tis something).
And as a small disclaimer, yes I know Devtonia is just memes rather than actual insults, but I've seen peeps in the devteam. hell, staff in general, be genuinely upset by it, they're all trying too.
